I do face painting at fairs and concerts. I can paint more than 50 kids in 4-5 hours. These paints allow me to do gorgeous work in a fraction of the time! The effects are amazing, they dry quickly and are overpaintable in no time. The kids love it!!

This product was a awesome size to face paint! I've used other cakes and they were way to large! I would recommend to family and friends! It went in well and dried quickly. It's nice to see a quality product at an affordable price. I clowned at Children's Hospital 10+ years ago and face paint was way more expensive. Everyone really need to use a quality water based face paint that won't stain children's faces or cause an allergic reaction. Thank you for a quality face paint!

Nice vibrant colors to choose from and it goes on well.Cleaned up easily from brush and sponges that I tried.No skin irritation. I have no artistic talent and will not judge the success of the painting , but I can judge the success of the paint.I tried make up setting spray and was happy with that result for keeping it on longer.Can't wait for my sister to paint my face -- she has artistic talent and the combination of these paints and her talent will be phenomenal.

I was delightfully surprised by the level of coverage offered with these face paints. I've had other paints that are nearly see-through, but these were much more opaque with just one application. The paint seemed to dry a bit darker than the color as they went on. Excellent range of colors that reminds me of colors of different flags or teams. Some of the lighter shades looked good as the start of butterfly wings. I also liked the multi-color blocks which are particularly fun for on-face blending. It's a bit harder if you just want one color at a time, but with a thin paintbrush it is possible.

These are great paints. I have used a lot of different face paints over the years, and I find these as good as even the rather expensive cake face paints I have used. The value of this set is great. The rainbow cakes are great for doing one stroke multi-color designs, but you can use a thinner brush to pick up individual colors. If the colors start to mix, it will only be the very top layer which can be easily cleaned up with the swipe of a damp sponge. The only complaint that I have about this set is that the reds do stay behind just a bit after one wash with soap and water. 4.5 stars
