Fantastic machine
Bought to replace a gimmicky 5 in one press bought from Amazon which was faulty. This machine is far easier to use. The clam shell is a much better design. Very even pressure and heat meaning transfers come out perfectly. Very impressed for the money. Excellent seller, have also bought sublimation mugs from them which are also excellent quality

Works well
Doing the job it was purchased for. I would have liked a little more clearance to make laying clothing down easier, but great purchase for the price

Solid heat press. Especially for the price
Received the heat press today . Comes pre built and actually looks like a solid heat press! I have no yet done any transfers but am excited to see the results. Will update my experience in a couple of months

4 out of 5 for results , 1 out of 5 for safe design
I've been using heat presses for 6 or 7 years now. This is my third one. So far so good in terms of actual results. No real issues with build quality, the mains cable is always stupidly short on these things though. My real issues lie with the design of this press. I'm not personally a fan of the 'swing' presses, and have always favoured the 'clam' style presses such as this. Previous ones I've used have always had a slide out bottom part, so you can lay your item your pressing, position your print and tape etc away from the the 200 degree hot top heating plate before pressing them together. This one has no such feature, so you are having to put your hands only a few inches underneath dangerously red hot plate to position your piece, print, tape, stupidly dangerous even for the most careful of hands. Similarly, dangerous design flaw - the bottom part of the press has no handle - eg: handle to hold when unclamping the press. When pressed tight and you are releasing the top part, you pull the handle up, but if it's been pressed tight you will need to somehow also hold the extremely hot bottom part for it to release. Previous machines I have used have had a bottom handle to achieve separating the two parts without burning your hands. You end up having to hold the bottom corner from underneath even though its very hot for it to separate. A decent machine which is seriously let down by safety design flaws.
