I am updating my review. Hicozy contacted me and sent a replacement trimmerhead immediately. I also found there is a Hicozy support website that is easily located via a search engine outside of Amazon. If additional parts or support is needed I can contact Hicozy directly without any problems. I do appreciate their quick response and resolution for my concerns.The rest of the unit, the vacuum and all of the attachments work great. I am not a groomer, but I have two dogs that need constant grooming and this system is easy without creating a mess. I can quickly clip or shave my dogs and not spend an entire day prepping an area, grooming, and then cleaning up pounds of hair.This is a 5 star concept with 0 star execution. I bought this on May 12th and received it several days later. I used it for the first time in May. The trimmer head kept falling off. I used it again in June to lightly trim the face of my puppy. The trimmer worked but the trimmer head fell off several times. I used it in July to groom my dog and the trimmer head fell apart so now I have a dog that looks like she has mange.The cordless trimmer was used 3 times for less than 15 minutes each time which means the trimmer didn't even last an hour. The rest of the unit still functions, but without the cordless trimmer, what good is it?There are no replacement parts available to order. The seller refers me back to Amazon. Amazon tells me I'm past the return window. All I want is a replacement for the cordless trimmer, not the entire unit.

This product is amazing!!! I wish I had discovered it months ago! I highly recommend it!!!!!

We are a house with 32 cats and 3 dogs. We use the brush vac but especially use the shaver part. We have an old man cat who will not clean himself and hates grooming. It has taken over a year to get him to let us shave him but today we got him mostly shaved. Not nearly as short as a vet would do it, but we don’t feel he would handle sedation well. This is quiet and pain free way for us to shave out mats and try and get his hair/skin one more step towards healthy. It is so easy to use. The vac part doesn’t catch everything while in motion, but it has enough power (on level 1) to suck up everything afterwards that it might have missed.

I thought this unit was really great. It’s quiet, the attachments are easy to apply, the dog and cat were not afraid of it, and it’s easy to clean out after use. The only thing I would recommend would be for a swivel at the brush as my cat did circles as I was brushing her and had to keep changing the position of the brush, and also a place on the storage tray for the scissors and cleaning brush. If it had those I’d give it a five star rating.Great product and I recommend it.

I highly recommend this if you have a fluffer, I honestly feel bad I never looked into something like this till now. I have an all black maltease mixed with labrador and he’s a big fluff, I’m still learning how to maintain and keep him less matted mainly behind the ears this worked great. We did clog the suction area that takes the hair throughout the brushing so I would just take it off really quick and throw it in the tube and off it went, still easier way less of a mess, it’s quiet as well, just time and patience, Lucky seemed relaxed and comfortable after. Approved!

Product photos of the grooming attachment being used on a Golden Retriever is misleading.I have a 60 lb Golden Retriever. Golden Retriever's shed A LOT. If you have Golden Retriever, you understand how thick their fur is, specially their undercoat.Pros:- Great suction- Multiple speeds for increasing/decreasing suction- Good length hose- Easy to change attachments- Noise level: The noise level from the Motor/suction volume is good for the amount of suction it createsCons:- The Grooming Tool (the main attachment I need) is NOT designed for a large dog with thick fur.-- The spindles are too close together so it snags and catches on the fur. I tried tilting the handle to only use the front edge of the tool but that results in losing suction since it's now further away from the fur-- The spindles are too short to reach down to the undercoat.Pro or Con:- Electrical cord storage: The product was designed to store the electrical cord in a small inset space in bottom of the unit (most likely to save space). This requires spending a lot of time removing the cord and wrapping it back into the unit. You literally can't just pull the cord out - it needs to be manually unwrapped. And if you don't perfectly wrap it back into the unit, the plug sticks out resulting in the unit not being able to sit flat. This could be a Pro or Con depending on how often you use the product. If you use it everyday, you might choose to leave the cord out all the time. But, if you plan on unwrapping and wrapping it each time, plan to spend a lot of extra time doing so. I'd prefer they just make the base taller and have a simple retractable cord like you see on clothes irons, etc.Without an appropriate Grooming Tool that specifically works for thick fur dogs like Golden Retriever's, (longer and more spaced out spindles) this product just ends up being another vacuum and I can simply use my current brush and vacuum to better accomplish the same this.Note: I only used the Grooming Tool attachment as that's the one I really needed. If you have a small to medium size dog with hair, I'm sure this will work well for you.Overall: 3 stars due to Grooming Tool attachment not usable for large dogs with thick fur (such as Golden Retriever's shown in the photo's), and inefficient electrical cord usability.* * * Update: March 13 * * *The seller stands behind their product. This was a really good purchase although my Akita was scared of it at first. After leaving the vacuum on so she could familiarize herself with it, the next day we brushed her with the vacuum on. Suction was outstanding on low, it’s the only setting we use. Emptying the fur collected is easy. We only use this for brushing so we don’t require charging, as it plugs into an electrical outlet. We are very pleased with the compact size and the overall product.
