Surprisingly GREAT at removing chlorine taste from my city water.
Completely removes the chlorine taste from my city water. I am very happy with this filter. I use it to filter a line to my Keurig coffee machine and to a line that I use to fill water jugs for my water cooler. I cannot distinguish a difference in taste between water filtered with this unit and the water I buy at the supermarket.

Only installed for a month and the water is already tasting bad! The last filter we had in lasted for 6 months.Update two months later, I was wrong water tastes good now I'm not sure why I had a few glasses that tasted as I like to call dusty seems to be working great!

SKIP THIS AND BUY A REPUTABLE BRAND
I would strongly suggest looking for another filter. I got very sick after we installed this for the ice maker for our new fridge. (No problems with the ice maker without a filter, I just don't care for the chlorine taste of tap water.) I have autoimmune issues, so I assumed it was just me, but then two of my children started complaining of terrible stomach pains, after continuing to use the ice for another week or two. No problems are discontinuing use completely. Maybe it's a fluke, but if the minimal exposure of ice in a drink could make three of us sick, I'm highly suspicious of the manufacturing process for these filters. Needless to say, I'll spend the money for a reputable brand the next time around.

Good price. Had plumber install but looked easy
Good price. Had plumber install but looked easy. Not enough room to place behind frig so mounted on the wall on the side. Unfiltered water had an odor and bad taste. Filtered water ice tasted so much better right away. Will purchase again when time to replace.

Good filter for ice maker line
Used it for my waterline to the ice maker. Works great, easy to install. Cut plastic tubing and insert in between. Truly better tasting ice cubes after installing filter.
