You cant go wrong buying this Radio, very easy to use.. you can program it through the app called ODMASTER!! sounds good the Whip antenna does the job for now.. the range goes pretty far, very strong and 2 walkie talkies for cheap!!

Great value and very good quality. Had a minor issue. Customer service reached out immediately and got the problem fixed. We were very impressed and it shows the seriousness of Tidradio. We Use one for the ham bands and the other for GMRS. Well packed and love that you can charge the battery with a usb C cable.

The TD-H8 has poor signal reception in the FM broadcast radio frequency range (65-108Mhz). If that doesn’t bother you, there is nothing else to not like about this radio. Strong tx power, Bluetooth programming, and great customer support.

I have been a Ham Radio operator for about 5 years. I have many HTs, mobile rigs and home stations. Kenwood, Yaesu, AnyTone, Baofeng... These HTs are great sounding, easy to program and, if the specs are accurate, put out 10 watts on high power. I have gotten great signal reports on VHF and UHF. Decent price and lots of available accessories. Plus, I love the color. So tired of just black :)

This product is now an on-going listening staple daily. Definitely watch a few you tube videos to learn how to use properly. We are still learning new aspects of this device.

These radios are preprogrammed with HAM and GMRS channels. They can also be completely unlocked with a combination of button presses. I unlocked them and programmed in marine and citizens band channels. These radios are able to broadcast at a full 10 watts across all frequencies instead of the usual 5. Programming is a little on the cumbersome side unless you buy the separate cable that you can use to plug in to your PC. If you have the cable you can use software like Chirp but without it you have to download an app on your phone and bluetooth it over. There is a web version that you use as well. The web version makes it easier to input all the frequencies that you want. It then syncs to the app on your phone. Once that is done you have to bluetooth it over to the radio. The software is lacking a function to be able to import or export files. That's an oversite that makes you have to input all the frequencies by hand. The good news is that once you do you can upload it to any Tidradio's that you may have. I don't know what the maximum range is but I have tested these radios out to 3 miles across wooded areas. The sound is crystal clear at that range so i suspect that they can go quiet a bit farther.

I have contacted Seller several times. Because of the time difference? its one message per day/night. Seller has been very nice, polite, and assured me that they will fix the issue, not to worry. Tried wired and Bluetooth options, to no avail. The same muted videos were sent as the solution, which didn't resolve anything. It has been a frustrating experience.

I picked up the TIDRADIO TD-H8 10W High Power Ham Radios without knowing or understanding that these should be used with a license, which the manual makes clear when you first open it up. With that being said, these have a very robust and versatile set of walkie-talkies.Seeing as I'm currently a novice with this advanced set of walkies, I can say there are some great functions built-in and that are easy to use. Each walkie has two ranges it works within and can also tune into AM/FM radio stations. The batteries can be charged up using the included charging stands or via the USB-C ports located on the bottom of each battery. The batteries also lock onto the walkies, which is great if you ever drop them you don't have to worry about them becoming separated or damaged.On the side of each walkie is a mic and headphone attachment, which seems to be universal, as I've ordered several attachments that come with dual connectors and they've all connected and worked easily with these walkies.The walkies feel great in the hand and have an extended amount of tools and uses I still need to dive into but I'm excited I have the ability to do so - albeit a bit overwhelmed by how much there is yet to learn with these.Overall, if you're looking for a set of walkie-talkies that have a ton of capabilities, then you're looking at the right set for you!
