Can you use this clothe with other brands of stainless steel cleaners?

I would think you can. It is juts a cloth. I do not use it with another cleaner, as I find it is a great cloth to 'spruce' up your stainless when you do not need to actually clean it. It polishes nicely most times without additional liquid cleaner.

Why is this cloth different from other microfiber cloths?

I clean houses for a living. This cloth is more durable, has two different sides, clean, buff. And can lightly wipe without much effort and it removes everything with one try. My favorite cloth ever. It is diff from microfiber regular towels. Those ones snag my nails, cuticles, this one doesnt. I promise you will see a difference. I personally use Endust inside of pricey cleaners, with this rag.
