I have the hybrid giant e+2 2018 hybrid - very pleased with it had no problems etc. Only thing that always bugged me was the 15.5mph speed limiter. Its only 9 gears but in 9th you hit the 15.5mph so often and easily its stupid. So saw this natty gadget, £149 quid is a bit steep so was a bit worried in case it didn't do as expected but I was not disappointed at all.Very easy to fit the gadget, slide over the existing sensor with a O ring to secure it, you get another magnet with the device I just moved the Giant magnet to the outside of the rim and fitted this in its place. I'm sure I could have used the normal Giant one but anyway...Went off for a ride and well wow, I know outside the EU this bike is limited to 20mph and quite honestly being only geared to 9th this is spot on. I cant speak for the road geared version as this will go faster than 20mph but the gadget will allow assistance up to 32mph as it effectively halves the actual speed to trick the motor. On the flat I can ride in 9th at around 18-19mph with little to no effort at all, I can push on and get up to near 30mph but due to the gearing you can look like a hamster in a wheel! Suffice to say this model is severely gimped by EU regulations and the road geared version will be worse until you fit the badass.Due to its simple design and fitting and the fact it does exactly what I wanted I have given this a 5 star. There is of course a downside but its not one to deduct from the rating, you will drain your battery faster as basically you always use the battery when pedalling. But I have learnt to conserve power a little better once the initial euphoria of an unlocked Bike is out of your system! The view from some cyclists when i am charging up a 5% hill doing 20mph with little to no effort is priceless.Well done Badass top product.

Excellent piece of kit. Fitted it very easily to my Giant road e. Don't use full power all the time but even on normal power the speed is increased for not much battery power. If used on full power does use a lot more battery but absolutely flys. This bike was always designed to go a lot faster than the 15.5 limit, this piece of kit transforms it. Thoroughly recommend it.
