Best value headset within the $400 price range
This is hands down the best headset for the value, it easily competes with headsets that are $350. This headset shines in every aspect, materials, comfort, lightweight, build quality, sound quality, and only lacks a little bit in microphone quality. This headset also has flip to mute, and volume control/mic monitoring scroll wheels on the headset. The mic quality isn’t the best compared to headsets like the steel series arctis pro, it also has noise cancellation like the arctis pro. That headset costs an extra $100! ($250 wired/$300 wireless). It bullies it in every other category besides mic quality. This headset has the best soundstage and ease of use compared to any headset that is within $250 of this headset. No other headset even comes close to the rig 800 HD. Not to mention, it’s wireless, which is huge for only $150. I would pay $350 for this headset if that’s what it was sold for. I love everything about this headset, the price, lightweight, great build quality and materials, durability. This beats every other gaming headset by a mile.
