Best made scratching posts on the planet, as testified to by a dozen+ cats over decades ignoring anything but theirs. Cats have picky tastes for a fine item?? Never!Made in a tiny little town in the Oregon rockies no where near the coast. And they’ve been making them since the 1930s. Now think: expensive pet thing, made near no one for over eight decades. How do they stay in business, even before the internet was even a thought. Answer: QUALITY.And yep my Mom’s cats know it. Gave up on buying others after they ignored all of them to hit furniture instead. This is the only one that makes them think tearing up furniture is for the bourgeois crowd beneath them. Said w a pinky out as they scratch...

Way too skinny
Be forewarned: this post is only three-and-a-half inches square, not leaving much surface area for scratching. The fabric at the top is simply folded over and stapled down, not very attractive The post doesn't fit exactly in the base, leaving uneven spacing around the base of the post. The one advantage -- well, two advantages -- are that it's made in the United States, and it's a couple inches taller than most other posts.

The best cat scratching post ever!
I had my first post in the 80’s. It lasted almost ten years! When I adopted 3 ferals this year I reordered this post due to its durability. These are the best scratching posts in their class. I highly recommend!

Excellent scratch tree for my cats and for me too
The media could not be loaded. I have been getting Felix scratch posts for more than 20 years. The company ownership changed a few times, but the quality of the products has remained excellent. One of my cats loves to climb, so recently I made a 72" tree connecting two 36" trees. It is attached to the wall and very stable. It is sturdy and does not shred as much as some other scratch posts I purchased. That means less dust, and it is good for indoor air quality.
