I wasn't sure if this would work or not but since I didn't have an outlet nearby and wanted to daisy chain two security cameras, I thought $6 was worth a shot. It works! Couldn't be happier!

I bought these to use on a 5 Volt, 4 AMP power supply so I could use it for two things at once.I usually use it to run SBCs but often add adapters (Mini USB, Micro USB, USB C & USB A) to charge multiple items. This allows me to either run an SBC and charge one item at the same time or no SBC and charge two items at the same time.It's the most compact 1 to 2 adapter of this type I have seen to date.This makes it perfect for use with a MiSTer FPGA setup.If you add the USB add-on board, it requires two Male 5.1mm X 2.1mm plugs at 5Volts DC.This gave me a use for the second one in the package. My USB add-on board came with a similar 1 to 2 adapter but it is at least twice as long as these and I didn't like the added cable. So far everything is working 100% as it should with these. Would I buy these again? I just did.

The splitter worked perfectly. This allowed for me to power up a nearby camera that the power cable failed on. Just what I needed for an economical price.

Works great for putting 2 cameras together

Good quality stuff. Accurate description. Arrived quickly. Put to good use. Buy wire-strippers — the gun-grip type are easiest for me to control pressure. But I throw like a girl. Total toss-up. Haha.

Worked fine to provide power to 2 IR lights BUT gauge is very thin with no much insulation. Wire is much thinner that the one that comes with the light, the extension cord I bought or even the power supply. Feels very flimsy. Would not recommend.
