Couldn't be happier with this, it fit my russell hobs 24280 kettle perfectly, no issues swapping it for the damaged part - not sure what else to ad other then it does exactly what it should!

I would give it 0 if that was an option. This claims to be a genuine part. Having fitting it to the kettle and boiled some water the filter warped so much it was sticking out the top of the holder. I tried pushing it back into place with only partial success. A couple more uses sand it had curled so much it was impossible to refit. Instead of being straight it was C shaped. I have returned it for a refund and sourced one from a different supplier that works perfectly.

...needed to replace the original limescale filter which had broken through years of use - this fits perfectly will see how long this one lasts and update review accordingly

Limescale seems to get through still. Even after descaling the kettle.
