We designed this simple farmhouse version of a Parsons table to blend easily into any decor. We're fans of having nature indoors and of a simple life so we feel this table does that well. The wood is from reclaimed rafters and joists (which are fir wood, for its strength and straight grain). We honed each board to a soft, smooth finish while leaving the wood's former characteristics. Since wood is a natural material and we create our collection using material that is in a salvaged/reclaimed state each piece will carry its own characteristics and grain patterns with no two pieces being the same. All of our pieces are handcrafted, in our studio, using local materials - all in the USA. For a daily cleaning, simply use a damp soft cloth followed by a dry cloth. When a cleaner is needed, use a mild soap and wipe dry in the direction of the wood grain. A high quality furniture polish may be used occasionally.
