Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
My quest is over. I bought a property that was let go and way overgrown. I needed a machete that was SOLID. I needed it to function time and again with no concerns and handle some really gnarly stuff. This machete functions without concern and the weight feels good in the hand. Great value for the money and looks awesome. Edge retention seems good but as with any edge will need maintenance.

Does what it's made for
Great for cutting heavy brush saplings and such. Not so good for small stuff, the weight makes it hard to control and get enough velocity. I have a longer lighter machete for that. As long as you use it how it was meant to be used it's great. Good balance between hardness and toughness easy to sharpen.

Cool blade shape but taxing
This will be my day one review, 9-19-23Pros:>really cool shape>sharp out the box>decent handleCons:>because it's front heavy, taxing>was hoping it would be .25" thick but it's notWill update review after some more time with it. However, I do plan on getting my hands on the Ontario sp 53!
