Q: i need this to controll two power sources to one motor .if one power source fails contacts open and route other power source to motor.will this work?

Yes, but would think you could use this...assuming first power source gets connected to coil and also the normally open set of contacts. If power source fails, contacts open and normally close set of contacts are closed where the 2nd power source would be connected.
