Ibanez Talman TCY10 Acoustic-Electric Guitar (Black)
This is actually my second Ibanez acoustic. My first one played beautifully, and I gave it to my nephew (who was about 9 years old at the time) when he expressed an interest in learning to play guitar. The Talman TCY10 is my new favorite. First of all, it arrived in perfect condition from Tinmusic (California). They took great care in packaging and shipping.Right out of the shipping box, the Talman felt very comfortable to play. The sound is very rich and full, even though the guitar is a shallow-body style. Even the low-end notes feel full and dense...usually it takes a dreadnought-style body for sound this good. Although I usually play "unplugged", I did try playing through an amp, and the sound is just as good when amplified.Aesthetically speaking, the Talman looks terrific, too. The "flying cutaway" body style just looks cool, and the finish is flawless and shiny. It comes in other colors (besides black), but the construction & craftsmanship are obviously the most important things. If you're thinking about purchasing a Talman (which you should), pick whatever color you like.I would recommend the Talman to any acoustic guitar player, from beginners to seasoned professionals.I am somewhere in-between, and I always will be.

Ibanez Talman
Very nice guitar. I am 70 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 12. I have arthritis in my hands and needed a guitar with a thin neck and a thinner body. After a few adjustments this guitar is great. I love it !! I had to adjust the truss rod and lower the bridge some. I love it !!

Cool little guitar
I bought this to play one song live and it didn't disappoint. It has a cool look and it's no bigger than a regular sized electric guitar. It also has a quick, accurate tuner. I did have to turn the truss rod a few times to set it up and I changed the strings, which were trash. Not complaining though; the price was right.

Ibanez review
Really surprised that a low cost guitar could be so easy to play with no set up and sound as good as it does.

A nice guitar with poor shipping protection.
The instrument is a good value for the price. Unfortunately it was shipped in the store carton which sustained considerable damage. The carton should have been placed into a proper shipping box.

Ibanez Talman Acoustic- Electric guitar
The Ibanez Talman Acoustic- Electric guitar sounds amazing with and without an amp. I love playing guitar. When adding effects pedals to the guitar, the sound is off the chain. I recommend getting is guitar.

Needed neck setup
First off don't buy this for a beginner online or they won't pursue playing a guitarFinish and build is flawless but the neck and action had me wanting to return it immediately!Knowing guitars for more years then most I spent time adjusting everything and it's a 200.00 guitarNeck is great for smaller hands and the guitar is comfortable, I'll review more after quality strings are bought, but it doesn't have a bad tone for the price
