Worked on my Hotpoint Aquarius
First thing you need to have to hand is a decent spanner to get the main nuts off to get the motor out of the washing machine to get to the brushes. I didn't have a good spanner and it took me ages to get them off as they were in a small space and those bolts are on really tight! Once its out then it's easy to get the old brushes off and replace them. These brushes were a perfect fit for my old Hotpoint washing machine. I watched a really good tutorial video on YouTube with step by step showing how to do it. Brushes were a great price and arrived quickly. Good job done :)

Cheap fix
Our washer stopped spinning while this lockdown for coronovirus was going on, and I didn't really want to spend £££s on a new one so I thought I'd have a go at fixing it myself. Seeing as I had read that the brushes are the most common thing to go, I watched a few videos on how to take them out and could tell they were really worn down upon examination. I ordered this set and swapped them over and lo and behold, the thing spins again! Brilliant and very easy to do if you have a look at some videos before you start. These items went on a Hotpoint WML520 and fit fine.

Cheaper than a new machine!!
I bought these for my Hoover DYN8144D1X, as they were one of the few types with locating pins running underneath the brush, rather than behind the screw holes. I doubt the pins are even necessary as the M5 bolts clamp everything on place. As expected from the photograph, the slope on the commutator end was going the wrong way, but a second or two against a grinding wheel soon reversed the direction. A quick rub of the commutator contacts with some sandpaper to remove traces of the old carbon deposits and my motor was running like new.

Used to replace brushes on a Zanussi ZWG12140M washing machine motor PA66 brushes
Used to replace brushes on a Zanussi ZWG12140M washing machine. Looked the same and fitted perfectly as is, but I did just replace the inner brushes into the original plastic housing after reading a couple of reviews that mentioned that the plastic had melted. The innards fitted perfectly :-)I did just take the corners off the carbon leading edges with a little 240grit sand paper, and also clean the com' of the motor with the same grit paper (just something I've always done with a motor refurb). The carbon of the brushes does seem a little softer than the original, but at the price paid if they do wear quicker (original ones lasted over 10 years!) it matters very little. So, from a washing machine that had thrown up a motor error code and no longer working, we now have a fully working machine again :-)Motor was a Welling UMT5204.02 motor, (with type PA66 brushes). I hope this review helps somebody.

Just fits Samsung Ecobubble WF70F5E0W with Welling motor
Ecobubble kept stopping mid cycle after 8 years of hard work.Samsung manual said to call customer service. Performed test mode and error code E3 was shown when testing the motor.Pumped out, switched off the water, disconnected electricity, water and waste. Tipped machine on a towel on it's side. Removed flimsy plastic panel from base exposing motors and brushes. One at a time, I removed each brush housing using a magnetic screwdriver, carefully pulling to disconnect the terminal connectors. One brush was very short (as I had hoped). These brushes were not Amazon's recommended for my model but they looked the closest. The housing was slightly shorter and seemed to be made of a different plastic. Importantly, the carbon brushes were the same cross section.Removed the brush from the plastic housing and clicked the new brush into the old housing. I needed to bend a metal location tab up and another down by about 0.5mm to fit. Screwed the housings back on, turned it the right way up, reconnected everything and after checking again in test mode, ran a short wash.Slightly noisier for the first 3 washes until the brushes bedded in and now working like new.I was very close to buying a new machine or spending £££ on a call out. This option was much cheaper and better for the planet. Even cheaper still would be to just sell the brushes without the plastic housing. Would also be better if there was a list of brushes vs model number - so you can be sure.So far, 10 washes with no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again when they eventually wear out.

Nearly caused a fire in my house.
I put a wash cycle on for 1 hr, there was a burning smell coming from my washing machine. I had to switch it off at the main switch incase my washing machine went on fire. The electrician checked my machine and said one of them had melted and im lucky my machine didnt go on fire. These are faulty and a fire hazzard.

Easy to change and great value
Bought to repair my Samsung Bubble jet washing machine when the drum stopped spinning.. Really easy to fit and great value. The machine is about 11 years old and has a hard life being used almost every day. Last year I had to replace the drum so now the machine is basically Trigger's broom but it's a lot cheaper and better for the environment to fix than replace.
