Lost in Space B9 Electronic Robot

Absolutely great talking Robbie the Robot. Evoked memories of the Lost Planet series, and, phrases such as “Danger Will Robinson!!” only went on to re-enforce.Perhaps the price could be considered a little expensive, but, isn’t everything nowadays!! Although plastic, it is of sturdy design and very well made. The chest lights flicker like an old fashioned computer, and, both the top chest light section and head lights flash on and off in synchro with his verbals.Really an enjoyable fun piece to own, more of a collector thing as opposed to a toy……but that’s maybe just my opinion.Great product, well made, well packaged and fast dispatch. Just Love it....all 15 audio recordings are really cool, the height is just right and the fact that you can position the arms and raise and lower the head rotate the mid section are all good. All the flashing lights makes it quite a collectable item for Lost in Space fans....for its price its a steal but it is made out of Plastic to be honest I'd be happy to pay a few more dollars if the Robots appearance was more metallic perhaps the midsection made from some die-cast painted metal and the tracks also made from metal with the rubber tracks made to move although I can see that overtime these would eventually break or perish....even the two bits just below the bubble should be made to rotate....its tricky because any attempt to fit electric motors so things can move would just be noisy....to look at it, its a toy...made of plastic, if a few parts were made from metal adding to its weight and made to look and feel like a real 'Collectable' miniaturized Robot from Lost in Space I'd still buy it!....now for a model of the Jupiter 2, even the Chariot...anyway this could extend to a heap of other models from other shows!

The media could not be loaded.  He's brilliant. So pleased with him. Price isn't too bad either. Can't really improve on the other 5 star reviews. He's plastic, he swivels at the hip and his bellows arms can be positioned. But the fact that he lights up when you switch him on! I wasn't expecting that. I'd have loved one of these when i was young, but then I probably would have played with it to destruction. I'm much older now and he's staying on the shelf out of harms way."Warning! Danger Will Robinson!"

I am very pleased with the purchase. The robot is a beauty, has sound and light. For a Lost fan in space, like me, it is a rare gem.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this for myself initially and planned to order a second one for my dad's Christmas present. Turned up this morning and it's my dad's birthday so I'll give him this one as he's 65 and grew up with the original Lost In Space. He will be chuffed.

The robot is well constructed and the arms can be moved. The flashing lights are nice. However it can only say one sentence which is "Danger Will Robinson" when using the side button in standby mode. There is another mode (selected by a slide switch on the bottom of the robot) that continuously flashes the lights. In that mode, pressing the side button will unleash more vocabulary.edited review to mention the modes that allow more vocabulary.

Value for money - well packaged. What's not to like. I first saw the show in black and white many years ago when it premiered on the small screen. It was cheesy then and it still is but the robot was the star of the show.
