RSGB Operating Manual

The RSGB Operating Manual, as its name suggests, is a get-you-started text book on becoming a proficient amateur radio operator. It isn't like a novel that is read from cover to cover at one sitting, so it will be some time before I can write a meaningful review.I have skimmed through the chapters to get a general idea of the topics covered, but I will not be able to know how effective it is until I start to use it with a radio and that learning curve starts tomorrow when my radio arrives. From what I have seen so far, I think the book is worth five stars, but it will probably be a few weeks before I can confirm that rating.
