It works for us definitely worth the money
My daughters right original switch controller started doing that fun little thing where it starts moving by itself and the only way to stop it is to turn it off, put it down and cry about the fact that you bought this thing brand new and it stopped functioning after 3 weeks.Anywho there’s many way to replace it, you can pay more than what this awesome controller costs to get a single right controller, you can buy a set for $80, you can buy and build one from the inside out or you can jump in after reading an overwhelming amount of reviews about all the different brands and styles here on Amazon and just buy one. So I did.My kids are rough with everything they own from their shoes to their to their pillows. Literally everything. We go through so many screen protectors now. Probably single handedly keeping some brands in business! As they are both diagnosed with ADHD and I’m on the spectrum we like things that are a bit more durable. This absolutely fits the bill! I love that it locks the console in place, there’s no fear of it falling out or getting loose. I love the size of the handles. At first I thought they’d be too big but after watching my daughter play they’re just honestly such a better fit than the much smaller original controllers. She can keep a grip on them, I don’t worry as much about them slipping out of her hands. I love the light features, you can change the colors, you can have rainbow, you can even adjust the brightness! And for I think it was $5 more you can get the other one with different designs. There’s like a lightning one, a spider web one, one that reminds me of rupunzels golden flower drawing, and a couple more. All of which you can also choose the strength of vibration too which is awesome. Some kids don’t like that sensation and we can turn it completely off. It comes with dual ended c chargers with a usb plug in, so you can plug in both the controller and the switch at the same time( into the car or car phone charger which has been a life saver on road trips where I’d like to take less cords if at all possible).I would buy again (I just did actually, because there’s a second switch in this house and “it’s just not as cool as sisters is. Without the lights”)If something negative happens I will update this but as for now we thoroughly enjoy them. They feel extremely similar to an Xbox controller for those of us that were curious. You can’t keep on any case or skin, that I’ve tried but I’m sure there might be some paper thin ones out there somewhere. Idk but I think this is a great controller. It does all the things and all our personal boxes of what we needed in a controller. Not for someone who likes to take them off and use them independently. Anyways thanks for taking the time to read my chaos if you made it this far, have a GREAT DAY !! 😊

Great controller. Awful charger. Would definitely recommend.
Honestly one of the best purchases I've made for the switch. Our joycons have the dreaded drift and have been repaired but inevitably drifted again. Playing with a pro controller is nice but not a good handheld option. This controller was exactly what I needed.Pairs easily and works great. No drift. The rgbs are bright with a lot of different options. It holds a charge for a decent amount of time. I don't charge it every time I play and it's never died on me. It's a little lightweight so it feels kind of cheap but it definitely doesn't perform like a cheap controller. It fits well with my tiny hands too.The one negative is the charger. It has a charger with two type C ends to charge the switch and the controller at the same time. It's awful and takes forever to charge anything, even with only the controller plugged in. I just use a different charger.

I love this controller! (I am a gamer)
Truly a great controller. I love the different light settings, the turbo function (I'm now unstoppable at Domination in Mario Party), and the fact that it's a controller that isn't connected directly to the console. It can be used while the system is docked which is neat. The case (sold separately) is also pretty swanky and makes everything feel safe and secure. The control sticks feel super responsive and in some ways I actually prefer this controllers sticks to a Pro controller's. It can be a little hard on the arms to hold it up for extended periods of time, but that might just be a gamer problem that gamers have (I am a gamer). Vibration can actually be a little too intense at times but it's also toggleable so not a big deal. Battery life could be better but the included split type-c cable that also charges the switch is a cery smart addition. Good stuff, all around. Very nice.

This is exactly what I needed for travel.
Background, I have tried the official Nintendo grip for the switch, and also the official joycons that look like a remote. The grip was ok but it didn't solve the joystick drift. The joycons that look like a remote had connection issues similar to the regular joycons, sometimes they won't charge, etc.All this to say that this product is fantastic, I just opened the box, connected it like any regular remote and got playing in about 15s.-- Big plus, it comes with a dual charging cable so you can charge both the switch and the controller at the same time.-- The joysticks are very smooth, I played a few rounds of Fortnite and the aiming was great using the same settings I used for the Pro controller.-- I have the old switch, but I will probably buy the OLED soon, the fact that this will fit both is great. Also the anti-slip pad on the back and the locks make the whole unit feel super sturdy.-- I haven't tried the app that will adjust settings but the fact that you can wirelessly control some of those functions is a step above any other product I say.-- It fits great in my old travel case that I got for the switch grip so no complains on that fit.-- Only reason I don't give it a 5 star is that the ergonomics are a little basic and the fact that it is plastic all over with no grip might become a problem if you get sweaty hands (like me).-- I have gotten used to the Pro controller, and switching to this was a little off for a few minutes, I have average hands so I don't think this would be comfortable for kids/teens.Overall pretty good, I will update if I find any issues or once I try the app.
