Fox Run Vintage Trigger Ice Cream Scoop, 1.5 x 9 x 2.5 inches, Brown

I am extremely pleased with this ice cream scooper - it is exactly what I was searching for! It combines a charming old-fashioned look with excellent grip and performs exceptionally well. Additionally, it is effortless to clean, well-crafted, and made to last. The quality of this scooper is outstanding, and I highly recommend it. In fact, I liked it so much that this is the second time I have purchased the exact same scooper.

Works great...horrible quality. I made the mistake of throwing it in the dishwasher (habit for new items before using)...dishwasher washed all the chrome off...was left with a nasty gray item with a gray dust that wouldn't wash off...threw it in the trash!...My bad for not seeing in description to "hand wash"...

This scooper has a vintage feel, and is simply beautiful. Everything in my kitchen is white and wooden, with a few pops of color, so this was a must for me. Definitely a unique find.The scooper is sturdy, and large. I have used it for ice-cream and also when baking larger cookies. I love it. The handle feels great to hold.Definitely hand-wash only to ensure longevity and quality.

Still my favorite scoop. Disappointed that the moving part inside the scoop fell apart, no way to re attach. Size is perfect.

This ice cream scoop works very well. I got it to replace one I'd had for about 25 years. Hope it lasts a long time.

It scoops Ice cream very easily. The handle doesnt stick like some do. We even used it to scoop melons and it worked great.

We've had this scoop for six months now. Initially it was great, but about 2 months ago the metal scoop part came out of the wooden handle (it is in there using a ~3/4 inch nub so it doesn't last long) and the metal bar used to sweep the scooped ice cream out started constantly coming out of it's seating, needing to be replaced after (and sometimes during) every scoop. We've never put it in the dishwasher, so that can't be blamed for any of this. I glued the scoop back into the handle and that appears to be holding so far, but the sweep coming out is infuriating and defeats the purpose of having an ice cream scoop to begin with.Update as of January 2023: It finally broke in a way that I can't repair. So we got a bit over a year out of it. Definitely not worth what we paid.

We'd looked in stores for this vintage style ice cream scoop and had no luck finding one. The new styles just don't work as well. This is exactly what we wanted. It is made of heavy metal and works great!. The trigger is made of heavy metal and geared. It releases the scoop with ease. It is money well spent.
