Seems to be working
I put it up yesterday. When I looked out of the window this morning, there were at least 15 small birds (sparrows, robin, great tits) feasting. A couple of wood pigeons tried to get at the seed - gave up in disgust. Two squirrels walked underneath the feeder but seemed to be daunted by the bars - they didn't attempt to jump up to the feeder (just hoping that it stays this way). Nice looking product. Easy to fill. I like the clip on the lid - hopefully the squirrels will not figure how it works! UPDATE (3 days later):- The squirells have 'sussed it out'! My wife likes to look at their antics, whilst getting their heads between the bars and feasting on the seed. I don't like having to go an purchase more seed, just to keep the pesky squirrels (and my wife) happy lol. No complaints about the quality and design look - just that it is not squirrel proof. I wondered if the bars were further away from the seed holder, the squirrels might not be able to reach the seed? I am updating this, one month later - the squirrels initially found how to get at the food but seem to have found it too much effort, Just occasionally they come back and try again - then give up. The birds are happy!

good feeder does its job, birds love it squirrels hate it.
Good quality bird feeder, does its job, the squirrels dont even bother to go near it its that good. it has a strong polycarbonate tube with 4 ports. The majority of the birds use it in my garden coal tits, blue tits, great tits, and ocasionaly a goldfinch. they dont use the feeder perches but use cage outside the feeder to get a seed and the only problem is the lid has not been soldered on properly wich means it closes at an angle and also the bottom of the feeder is a bit far down from the last two ports wich means the birds cant get at the seed so it goes all mouldy and may require regular feeding patterns.

Squirrel Proof Bird Seed Feeder NOT Squirrel Proof
These are definitely NOT squirrel proofI bought four of them and each one was bitten to bits by the squirrelsI wanted to be sure it wasn't a rat so set up a night cam next to one and sure enough it was the squirrels that just jumped onto it then put their snout through the cage and bit through the green plastic feeder section with the perch then bit away the plastic sleeveVery disappointed

You have to add to it for squirrel-proo
It's ok. Just a standard feeder. Not squirrel proof. My last one's plastic perches were destroyed by squirrels getting inside it. I woke to find one inside it,see pic for proof. So I cut my old feeder apart with pliers, stretched it open, inserted new feeder inside, overlapping the gaps, secured it with bits of metal, plastic-coated garden wire. Lil birds can still gain access but bushy-tails can't.
