Charging:This is sold as charging using 'universal USB-C charging'. It's not, as confirmed by Meridian's support. It MUST be charged using a standard 5V/1A USB socket. This is an old style USB-A (rectangular) slow charger - anything with more current will fail. None of my standards compliant (e.g. Apple & Anker) USB-C chargers or cables work. I have to use the included cable and dug out an old Apple charger from an ancient iPhone.In use:• The power button is exactly where you want to hold the trimmer. You will constantly turn it off unintentionally.• The trim guard designed to alter the length of the trim is VERY pointy and will constantly catch and scratch.• I am not sure about the cause of failure but it slowly stops cutting effectively. When I empty the hair that gathers between the trim guard and cutting head, it starts working effectively again. Maybe it's limiting movement / exerting pressure? Anyway, you need to keep removing the guard from the trimmers to work properly.I do like the Meridian marketing, package, instructions, quietness but in overall in use it's got too many little compromises to recommend for general use. I suspect it's a fantastic trimmer if it's just about bush topiary - short term use, closer work - but for general usage holding back the Mr Tumnus tendencies of a chap's leg hair and all the other things these are designed for, there are better answers out there.

You don't get a smooth shave, leaves an irritating stubble. The only good thing about this product is that there were no cuts down below.
