is this made in the usa?

According to the manufacturer's website, the stainless steel lunch boxes are constructed in Mumbai, India. Is this system good for packing soup? I was thinking of putting rice in one level and warm soup in the other.

I gave this one as a gift, so I don't know. You could pack the soup in a thermos and put rice in one part and then steamed veggies in the other part. I have another style, and if I did pack soup in it I would make sure it was upright at all times, just to be sure.I've been happy with the stainless lunch boxes from To-Go Ware. I hope this helps.
