YYCAMUS 4K Camera Glasses: Crisp Video, Easy Use, with a Few Trade-offs
I’ve had the chance to try out the YYCAMUS Superior 4K 2160P Camera Glasses, and they offer a pretty unique way to capture video on the go. There are a lot of positives, though a few areas could use some improvement. The biggest highlight is the video quality. Recording in 4K at 2160P delivers clear and detailed footage, which is great for capturing scenic views or daily moments. The wide-angle lens is a nice touch, allowing you to get more in the frame without too much effort. However, I did notice that while the image is sharp, the video can struggle a bit in low-light conditions, with some graininess creeping in.The glasses themselves are comfortable to wear. They’re not too heavy, which is important when wearing them for longer periods, and the design is subtle enough that they don’t immediately look like camera glasses. However, for people with larger faces, they might feel a bit tight, and the style may not be for everyone. One of the big pluses is the ease of use. The one-button control system makes it very simple to start recording, even if you’re not familiar with tech. There’s no need to fiddle with complicated settings, which I appreciated. On the flip side, the audio quality could use improvement. While it works for basic recordings, it tends to pick up a lot of ambient noise, and voices aren’t as clear in louder environments.Battery life has been decent for my use, lasting long enough for casual recording sessions, but I imagine for more intense, all-day use, you’d need to recharge it more often. Recharging is easy with the included USB cable, but it’s worth noting that you won’t get hours upon hours of recording without a break.Overall, the YYCAMUS 4K Camera Glasses are a convenient and fun option for hands-free video recording, especially if you want to capture moments discreetly or on the go. The video quality is excellent in good lighting, and the glasses are simple to use, but there’s room for improvement in audio quality and comfort for extended use. If you’re after a compact, wearable camera, these could be a good fit, as long as you’re aware of their limitations.

Horrible junk
Video is jumpy, jerky and buffers through the entire video. Audio is almost non existent. The battery only lasted about a week before it started not wanting to hold a charge. I don't see how Amazon can allow vendors to sell this garbage. I returned it last week.

There are things I really like, and other broke the deal.
Takes a decent picture. I really really like that the camera vibrates to let you know it's taken a picture or taking a video. I am returning a different pair of these because sometimes I take a picture when I want a video and vice versa. I have two deal breakers with this product. 1. Once people know they are being recorded, they change their behavior. Not good if I want to use footage on Judge Judy. There is a GIANT camera in the middle of these glasses like a zit between the eyes. 2. I don't have a video because to play back the video the glasses wanted me to buy a program to use for playback. Sorry, but I don't want to support that.

Not great compared to 1080p glasses
Video and photos are grainy, like too much of a sharpening filter has been applied to them. The video is also dark and colors are off.I’ve also got the prior version 1080p glasses and the quality is better with them regarding clarity, color and lighting.

Decent quality but not as good as an action camera
Unfortunately Amazon keeps rejecting all my video reviews, without any explanation other that it violates guidelines. So here is just the written review:As a full time filmmaker I'm always looking for new cameras to try. Those do shoot 4 k 30p at about 12kbps which is a decent compression. There is no image stabilization. So if you are using this for sports footage will be VERY shaky. There is no way to change the video settings, so not very friendly for action filming. It loops the footage so the construction is identical to a dash cam. Be careful if you want to save all your footage. It does accept large SD cards (none included) up to 256GB and 1 hr of footage will be around 6GB of data. So a 64GB card is plenty. But I would need to research this further.Manufactured claims the glasses can operate for 100 minutes in on single charge. Have not tested it.QualityThe image has a somewhat decent quality, not stellar. And it does a decent job with exposure. I shot a clip inside a bathroom with minimal light and it worked ok, and I shot outside on various light differences. It takes a second to adjust but it is ok.Audio is surprisingly clear a loudOperation -There is a switch to select stills or videoLong press to turn the camera on, then short press to either take a picture or start a video. If you start a video, short press the button again to stop recording.Overall it does a decent job but is not a replacement to action cameras. If you are looking for a spy camera, that is a good contender.
