Great Product - Great Price
I read all the reviews. I like to start with the 1-star reviews and work my way up. I don't know if the manufacturer addressed all of the issues, but I didn't experience any of them. The material used is even heavier than I had hoped. The cams and arms slide smoothly and lock without issue. I really like all of the different setup jigs. They are made of plastic but they are heavy duty and I see no reason why they won't last a lifetime. They aren't used under pressure or with a spinning wheel. I can't see a reason why plastic isn't a great choice for these jigs. The brass tightening wheel is secure to the steel screw. I tried very hard (with only my hands) to break the two apart and could not. I'm very mechanically inclined and I found everything very easy to understand and install. Everything was packaged with professional care. Not a single scratch on any piece. The finish on the parts seems very durable. A few of the welds (for example on small nuts that allow for the thumb locks) seem a bit small. But there are four on each nut and they are all solid. They don't have to take a lot of pressure so I believe they will be more than ample. (I'm just one of those guys that thinks more weld is better than less. However on these smaller nuts, more weld would probably cause way more issues and like I said, I don't thing it is necessary.) I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone. I did see that some people ordered 8" when they really needed 6" grinder versions. But the manufacturer is very clear in their description and on the box which one you are ordering.May 22 Update - I've been using the jig for a couple of months now and I really like it. I get perfect grinds on my lathe chisels every time. Since my angles are always the same, sharpening takes very little time and removes very little metal. I sharpen before each project and run a project every-other-day. Very nice product!

Helps with sharpening
A comprehensive tool that has helped me to sharpen my chisels in a consistent way and the after sales service from the manufacturer was very good. I would recommend this to anyone that is having problems getting a consistent edge on their chisels and it is competitively priced too.

Well made and useful.
I am writing a review because the first two reviews of this product seems unfair to me. One review complains of a slow delivery time. Mine was delivered to the UK as fast as I could expect and I could track it throughout. I had an issue with one component and I contacted Peachtree who sent a replacement, which was also sent quickly. The other review complains of frustration setting it up. It isn't possible to give exact instructions due to differences in grinder sizes. fitting the arms under the wheels does require adjusting the height as the grinder stand will vary. I would guess that this system will work better with an 8 inch grinder because the wheel may be further away from the motor body. This is most obvious when grinding an Ellsworth type profile on the motor side of a gouge. A smaller head on the jig, like Ellsworths own jig design avoids this problem. However the difference between 6 and 8 is just the plastic setting pieces, the rest is the same. The larger the wheel the flatter the bevel and it seems to me this matters most with a skew bevel. The adjustable platform has been very helpful with speedy scraper sharpening. This pro-grind jig system is sturdy and well made, sharpens many different types of woodturning tools and doesn't deserve low star reviews. It isn't the perfect solution, but I am rating it for what it is at the price I purchased it.
