The directions say not to apply to any area that is prone to wrinkling or eyebrows. So areas where a peel away mask loosens first, they suggest not putting it in those areas.It does feel odd putting on a mask over my makeup or without makeup and going out in public. The mask is mainly translucent but I can see a difference in sheen when I look in the mirror. I don’t find a recommendation in the listing about how long the mask should stay on. As it dries ( in about 5 minutes ) it does stay feeling the same for a while, then being in the sun, the moisture from my body starts to delaminate the mask. When I tried this, it was about 90 degrees outside in the sun. It might do better on a sunny day with temperatures under 70 degrees - as I would likely not sweat in those temperatures. In my opinion this is designed for an hour or so, I personally would not use it for a day at the beach kind of sunscreen.I have tried the product and found no negative effects. I like the idea but am unsure how often I will feel comfortable using this type of sunscreen. I feel like people can see the difference and think I forgot to remove something from my nose and my cheeks. My rating based on the details above is 4 Stars. I hope my thoughts help someone.

This gel patch is a gem that forms a protective film on the skin and it is packed with glutathione which will help reduce dark spots over time. This isn't a cure for dark spots but it helps protect them from getting worse while you're trying to reduce them. I use these on my dark spots that happened from previous outbreaks and it has helped after two weeks of consistent use so I think it's worth it only for those serious enough about removing their dark spots.

This is an interesting sun patch. I'm used to the ones that you stick on but this is a roll on to apply type of patch which I've not used before. It is fairly easy to apply as there is a soft applicator on the tube itself that helps spread out the gel on to the face. I put a thin layer on and it dried quickly. It has a shiny, filmy type of finish that works best on flat portions of the face (not so much on where the skin folds or winkles). I get freckles and sun marks on my cheeks and under the eyes and was able to apply the gel patch well there. It did make my face shiny and I had to take care not to touch my face. I was surprised by how easy it was to peel the patch off my face afterwards - it kind of reminds me of peeling off Elmer's glue in grade school but in a cleaner and easier way. My skin underneath the patch was nicely hydrated and it did not cause any irritation or reaction at all. It was also fairly sweat proof which was great. It was a nice, fresh scent that's subtle and not overpowering. Overall, I liked that I can apply this once and not have to worry about reapplication as I do with traditional sunscreen. But what I don't know is how many hours it's effective for though the directions say to apply and engage in outdoor activities and peel off after...

I don't like sticky things on my face, so I probably should have known better than this. I thought that 'patch' was metaphorical, because the product came in a tube. Nope, it dries into a film that forms a patch on your skin. This did not feel like a 'second skin' to me. I definitely noticed it was there. I will not say it's terrible, because if that's what you were expecting, I'm sure it's great. I just don't see the appeal over a regular sunscreen, unless this is providing a lot more protection.
