Kate Reed (Sarah Shahi, The L Word) never faced a fight she didn't want…to win. A former lawyer, she's now a mediator who loves to resolve others' conflicts. But it's often her own conflicts that could use some attention. In season two, Kate returns to the firm and discovers that Reed & Reed is on the verge of financial collapse. To save the firm, up-and-coming trial attorney Ben Grogan (Ryan Johnson, CSI: NY) is brought on as a partner. However, Kate finds herself both clashing with Ben's aggressive, ambulance-chasing ways and yet, romantically drawn to him. Further complicating matters are Kate's relationships with managing partner/stepmother Lauren Reed (Virginia Williams, How I Met Your Mother) and soon-to-be-ex-husband A.D.A. Justin Patrick (Michael Trucco, Revenge). Watch all 13 original, witty, and absolutely unpredictable episodes of the series critics call "funny and sexy" (Mary McNamara, Los Angeles Times).Bonus Content:Disc 2 - Fairly Legal Season Two:Deleted ScenesDisc 3 - Fairly Legal Season Two:Deleted ScenesGag Reel]]>

Unique
I never understood why this show only lasted 2 seasons because Sara Shahi is vibrant as an actress & the show was so unique in perspective. In a world of over litigation, this gave us hope that it's possible to compromise on legal issues rather than issue ultimatums, saving everyone time, money, & peace of mind.

Missing This Show!
This is a great show! The storylines are real and show life how it really can be sometimes...(okay, most of the time)...messy! Sarah Shahi is lovely and so passionate here, as in every role she undertakes. When the show Life was canceled I was very sad because the main characters (Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi) were so fun and interesting to watch. It was great to see that she would be the main character in Fairly Legal and she did a beautiful job. Now that Fairly Legal has been canceled, I am sad once again.

Miss it
Who would think Ms. Shahi could be so funny after seeing her as the intense Shaw on Person of Interest. She happens to be great on that show. Ms. Shahi's character is such a mess and at loose ends in her personal life. Sorry to see the show lasted only two seasons but if that's what put her in POI the pay off has been good for the viewing audience. I plan to purchase the remaining episodes for my Kindle.

i think i may have been one of the only ones who loved ben..
i watched this series while it was playing on usa. at the very first part of this season i hated ben. i thought he was pompous and condescending. though as the season played out, it felt as though we were peeling away the many layers of the onion and finding that ben was good to his core and a much better suited match for kate than justin. asside from this, i loved the cases and the care kate showed throughout the series to coming to a good resolution in all matters. i loved how she didn't see just black and white but she saw the win/win in all situations. good series, it will be missed.

Quasi-legal Dramedy, very funny
USA Network has a bad track record of canceling good shows. This show was funny and had great characters, but they pulled the plug. I have to admit that I have a Sarah Shahi bias, if she's in it I'll watch. But, having said that, the show was funny and it wasn't your typical TV legal drama. As a mediator the situations could be a lot more ridiculous than court cases, so there were so many more opportunities for humor.
