These are just so cute! Who knew stuffed frogs could be this adorable.They're also big - a lot bigger than I expected. At an impressive ttcm long, the Mama frog is very substantial, as well as being very soft and squishy.I got these as a gift for my nephew, and I can imagine carrying the big one around by one long froggy leg. The fabric is exactly as per the photos, ina nice mossy green, with a creamy yellow belly, and a wide grin. Both colours are the same fabric, which is very soft, somewhere between a fine fur and a deep-pile velvet, and there are a lot of pattern pieces which have gone towards making this a surprisingly realistically shaped frog. It sits really nicely - they both do in fact. The mama frog is very softly stuffed so that it's not at all heavy despite its size.The smaller frog is made of the same fabrics and the same pattern pieces, an exact copy of it's mum, but the smaller frog is stuffed with the same kind of heavy nylon pearls that Ty Beany Babies used to be (still are?), so it feels more like a beanbag, and is actually heavier. It does have some normal polyester stuffing, but it also has the beads, whose extra weight enables it to sit nicely and hold any position.The eyes on these two are large plastic safety eyes, and are very shiny, and the wideness of their setting on the head gives the toys so much character.They do come pretty basically packed, compressed down into a plastic bag, and need a good few hours, preferably overnight, to completely decompress and for the creases to settle out. If I were buying these as a gift, I'd probably plan on taking them out of the bag they arrive in and re-packaging them in a nicer gift bag, to do them justice.But don't let that put you off getting these; I can't overstate how well made these are. Mine came without a stitch out of place, no loose threads to trim off, and not a single flaw. The feel like a quality premium product, the kind of toy you'd buy from Selfridges or Hamleys, and would look lovely sat on any child's bed or shelf.Unusual and quirky, and definitely recommended.
