I've owned Samsung tablets before, but I leave those at home since they're expensive. I just needed an affordable Android tablet to play Watcher of Realms, Raid Shadow Legends, and read my books. Compared to the cheap tablets I tried from Temu, the DEERTiME tablets are surprisingly fast. I started with a 6GB/8GB model, then upgraded to 12GB, and now I'm using one with 16GB RAM and what I believe is 22GB virtual RAM. They're budget-friendly, and if I drop or damage one, it's not nearly as costly to replace as a Samsung tablet.

Great tablet. Bought for grandkids to play on when visiting my home. All four ages 17 to 6 years have enjoyed it and had no problems playing games or surfing the web or watching YouTube. Two of my sons who happen to be computer engineers approved of the quality and price of this tablet.

I needed a new tablet because my old 8.5" Samsung has become barely usable. I use the old tablet mainly for sleep therapy. I listen to podcasts as I fall asleep! I use ear buds that have a 3.5mm plug. I also stream music to our Bluetooth speakers for entertainment. I keep my entire music library on the old tablet.Well the first "DEERTIME" tablet had a short in the 3.5mm connection. I requested a replacement. The replacement arrived within 3 days. So far the 3.5mm connection works.I won't be using it to stream to my Bluetooth speakers. My old tablet will be dedicated to doing that. However I am noticing that the new tablet struggles playing music from my app (PowerAmp). The files fail to fully load, no artwork etc.There is a way to "Extend" the RAM from 6 gigs to 16 gigs. I'm not certain why the tablet isn't onboarded with 16 gigs. Not sure why someone would want less performance if there is nothing to sacrifice, upgrading to 16 gigs. Upgrading to 16 gigs does not resolve the above issue! There is also a bit of lag when launching and moving within apps.There is a noticeable downgrade in picture quality. Even comparing the new tablet's resolution to the old Samsung. Some text even appears grainy. I know that's nit picky but my eyes have been trained on a Galaxy Tab6 and an S24 Ultra. When I put my phone down to use the new tablet, it takes a few seconds to retrain my eyes!That being said, the replacement tablet is good so far. I appreciate a tablet that actually works! I love having a bigger screen (vs my old 8.5" Samsung)! It was pretty cool having the tablet playing my Knicks game in the foreground while playing 4 picture in picture football games in the background on my TV!Based on those, I couldn't give it a 3. It doesn't deserve a 4 or higher merely for the fact that the first tablet had a defect; for one!If anything changes either way I'll update this review.I hope this helps!

I bought a while ago good but it was falsely advertised. It's supposed to have 22hb of ram, but it start to lag like crazy if have too many apps open. When I meet too many apps, I mean more than 3. There's no way this thing has more than 3 ram. I just use it to read, but it can barely hand me jumping between multiple apps. The keyboard is also low quality.

Great tablet! Fast and plenty of storage. Easy to use.
