Perfect plant stand for my home office. I love the shape and design and it’s quite sturdy, decent materials. It could maybe have come with another light or two, or stronger lights, but I knew that when I bought it so no points off there. It was a bit of a pain to put together - took a couple of hours by myself and the holes often were difficult to line up, but I managed. If you’re really challenged with that sort of thing, recruit someone who isn’t. Otherwise, I absolutely love how it looks. Already thinking of buying another to put side by side and double the plant count in the home office.

The media could not be loaded. Couldn’t love it more. Took a bit to assemble, but 1 person can totally handle it. Could use a couple fire wire fasteners to hide the cords, but not a deal breaker. Love it. Will likely by a different version for another spot in the house. Haven’t plugged in the lights yet- but I’m sure they will be fine. The plants get plenty of natural light where they are so it wasn’t the reason I bought it. Good value for price. Very happy.**plugged everything in and it works great!

I am very impressed with the quality of this stand. It is very heavy duty and stylish. It’s a perfect fit. Assembly instructions were very easy to follow. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is the placement of the switch controller. It’s awkward. A remote would have been ideal.Regardless, I love the look and it displays my plants beautifully.

I Love my new plant stand! It has so many places to sit plants and was very easy to assemble. It looks great flat on the wall or kiddy-corner in a room. I went even further and painted the black metal parts a beautiful brown to match my room before it was assembled. It turned out gorgeous.

I love the way it looks and the lights give off a nice ambiance at night. I have it in front of a picture window so I am unable to attach it to the wall but no kids around. It is very sturdy but there is a 9 lb. capacity limit per shelf.

Put it together reluctantly after seeing the quality and tiny sizing of the shelving material.1 lower middle shelf has a slight forward canting so if anything weighted causes any further warping, it’s coming tumbling down. 2 metal pieces’ screw holes, did not line up with shelving hardware attachment holes; had to literally drill large holes to get them to to where I could join tthem together. Very top upper shelf has slight backwards canting, so again, any water/weight warping that might eventually be caused by hold a potted plant, the plant is going to slide off back of shelf.Sitting atop PERFECTLY level, 2 yr old wood flooring, and you touch this stand anywhere above its midsection and it sways and wobbles to the point we literally hold our breath when watering our plants; never mind attempting to mess with turning on the correct level of grow lighting… way too risky. Freestanding is not safe; you WILL need to anchor it to the wall. Now that I’m Mentioning the multiple grow light cord… the cord that branches into 3 cords that run up backside of metal posting and are supposed to be capable of being hidden by affixing clips to the metal… the clips don’t stick well to the metal, but even worse, one cord is too long and cannot be completely hidden from front view. The lighting cord the selector doesn’t work a 100% either. we were often having to click it multiple times to change to the next lighting option or turn on/off. For safety and loosing our you know what due to lack of its cooperation, we’ve resorted to bending over and plugging/unplugging from the wall everyday, which defeats a significant reason as to why we paid what we paid for this shelf. Others that were far less, but didn’t offer grow lights that we need to continue our orchids’ &geraniums’growth throughout the winter. I’m stuck with it; but, you don’t have to be… heed my warning.This is a Big Lots quality piece of furniture, with a fairly hefty price tag for that poor level in quality. It should be priced in the $80-$85 range, in all fairness.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHELF SYSTEM… period. I really can’t find anything positive to say about it. I don’t even find it aesthetically pleasing either, as it looks lower quality and unlevel/canted shelves are noticeable when assembled.

Nice quality product, great value, solid and sturdy. Beautiful design. I would like another grow light and a remote for the lighting but I will nevertheless likely purchase a second one!

Engineering is not bad, top shelf is crooked. Easy to put together only with small hands. Shelves are small and the orientation will only allow a couple of 6" pots, the rest will only accommodate smaller pots. Not a true grow light, just led strips. There is no good way to hide the wiring. Neat design though.
