Works great and a great idea!

I bought this to connect two monitors I got HDMI(monitor) to USB-C (connect to hub). Found out the hub will not provide enough power on the USB-C or thunderbolt connectors to run a monitor. I needed to buy two HDMI To HDMI cables to connect one to the HUB & one to back of PC and that worked The 4 USB-A connectors, ethernet connectors,& SD card reader worked

It is for anyone that had a laptop so that you can plug several things into it at a time. East to work and not to heavy to carry.

Scroll down for good part of review.On other usb/ethernet hub product pages, even expensive ones, there were a few reviewers who said they could not get full speed out of the ethernet port. This is the same thing. I have 1gig home internet but the ethernet on this hub could not push past ~350Mbps (megabit(Mb)/8=megabyte(MB)). I bought an amazon basics usb 3.0/3.1g1 to ethernet and got nearly 1gig.A gripe I have is that most usb+ hubs have a minimum of 1 hdmi. I dont need an hdmi! Searching only brought up either too generic usb or mostly better ones with hdmi. I would take this hub with no hdmi for full ethernet speed or two addi. usb 3.0Other than the ethernet, this hub works great. I use the DP to connect the hp Firefly g10(A) to the msi optix 32" 1440/165 display. Works great! Charges properly. Allows me to connect keyboard and mouse (usb 2.0), usb 3.0 flashdrive, DP, USB c power, and either of my tab s4 or note9.
