Super sharp. I feel like this is the first real chef knife I have owned. I'm a little scared of it because it's that sharp.It's heavy but I like that for my home kitchen. I might feel different in a professional setting.The handle is different with the hex style but it feels good in my hand and I find it to be comfortable.It's a good looking knife with kind of an ocean vibe going on.The slight curve of the blade is nice for my slicing style which is in between chef and santoku.It's a good size for everyday use and feels balanced in my hand.Very happy all in all and I am curious how long the blade will hold an edge. So far it's still razor sharp.Very happy all the way around.

Awesome knife but expensive

I bought this as a gift to a family & directly sent it to them. They liked the knifes beauty but since they just recd it yesterday, have not used it. They did say it had a good weight & hand comfort.

My son had received a Japanese knife that he loves for his birthday. I liked it too so I got my own. He enjoys cutting and chopping with this one too. Really sharp. I mean Really sharp! My son cut himself examining it. He was and is impressed.

I have a drawer full of stainless steel knives and they all are dull & need sharpening. This knife is awesome. I love the handle, the weight, the size, the blade sharpness right out of box. It’s the only knife I think I’ll ever need. It’s beautiful too.
