be careful. Knunchukau are illegal in California. Stupid state.
These are an improvement over my wood 'chuks as they don't bruise of cut when I screw up. The chain joining them is 7 links long. I shortened it to 3 links and they work better for me. I was happy to have the flexibility to customize the fit.

Metal links questionable
They're perfect for practice, the instructions are online so check email for that. I'm iffy about the metal links which is why I'm eating 4 instead of 5. It feels like maybe if I get too rough too fast they might break but they haven't yet.

Good for general practise, without hitting anything.
I like these overall, but my only gripe is that I feel that the chain is a bit flimsy.

Package was a bit crushed, BUT, nunchucks in great condition and look like they will hold up well. No physical use just yet as it is a Christmas present, but I'm not worried.
