The description is not clear on this product, but it is designed specifically for the Sony Xperia line of phones ONLY. Using it with my XZ2 Compact in the car, it works great. No noticeable noise on the audio channel at all, which is probably why they limited the charge rate to 0.5A. That's still enough to maintain charge while my phone's screen and gps are on, so no problem for navigating on long trips. And if you need a fast charge for some reason you can always remove it.

The cable works and has a high quality texture to it. However, the cord has a flaw, it does not support fast charging.This product is over priced because it is a Sony product with quality.Over all great quality product that works well with my car stereo. I have been looking high and low for something like this for Moto Z3. I read a review that said it would work so I gave it a shot and it works. Some would say that the fact that it does not quick charge is a con not to me. The only con is that it could stand to be a little cheaper.

Works as advertised, which is more than I can say about similar devices I tried.

I tried two cables before purchasing this one and they both didn't work. If own an Xperia device this is the right cable for you.

Was not a part I could use in my needed configuration. Nothing wrong with the piece.

So far the only purpose this serves for me is its just has optional headphone jack that has no real purpose because if you try to stream something with headphones in forget charging. It doesn't. So what purpose does it serve? Maybe you can wear your headphones while you read your email. Because that is the only way it will ever change. Not functional!

This is the first connector that actually works for both charging and using a corded set of head phones on my Moto Z Force.

Tengo costumbre de quedarme dormida escuchando vídeos de youtube y también suelo poner a cargar el teléfono durante la noche, así que al de poco de comprarme un teléfono sin conector de jack de 3,5 (xperia xz2 compact), me compré un aparato de este estilo pero chino y se nota la diferencia. Es verdad que también es significativamente más caro, pero el conector tipo C se le ve de más calidad y encaja mejor en el teléfono. El conector de carga igualmente encaja mejor y se conecta y desconecta con más facilidad. Y sobre todo, lo que más valoro es que cuando están enchufados a la vez los auriculares y el cable de carga, no se escuchan ruidos, que al parecer es bastante habitual en este tipo de aparatos y que a mi me pasaba con el anterior.

Its an adapter. Built well and actually reliably works.Thing is with USB C audio an adapter like this that allows charge and audio that just works and works reliably with your phone is a major win. My car doesn't have bluetooth audio and I use my phone for navigation so being able to charge and listen to podcasts on my long commute is a necessity for me. The existence of this adapter is literally what allowed me to purchase an Xperia XZ3 with no 3.5 port and it not be a major PITA.

Fonctionne très bien avec XZ2 Compact.J'avais eu des problèmes avec une version no-marque.Juste dommage que le prix semble un peu élevé, pour un adaptateur.
