Works great, real deal not a fake
Allowed me to recover data from a spi flash and a nand, did what I needed.

It works
It is definitely worth the money. Could had been better if the software to run it had a better link to download. Note: my unit did not come with any software.

Not sure if its real.
I have This unit and the Ez2019. This unit will detect the right chip I want to back up and program. But while programing I get errors. If I hook up the EZP20019 I get no errors. and the device works great after that flash.

Good price and works for many programmable devices
I actually have TL866II+ and T56, (got T56 at eBay); have to say these programmers are very useful, I use those mainly for SPI flashes and strongly recommended the T56 to support more newer SPI devices. The T56 ICSP port also has better compatibility than TL866II+.Surprisingly, the Xgpro s/w is quite good, updates are quite often and straightforward, simply works! I used to use ChipProg for $650, it broken in a couple of years. My colleague said, now we can buy four T56s.

Checking Programs in Inverters
I repair Trace/Xantrex SW and DR series off grid old solar inverters. I needed a way to check the PIC CPUs and roms. This programmer was a quick and easy solution. The PICs are copy protected bur they have the last bit of the code open. That provides way to verify a unknown PIC with a known saved code, with out having the full code compromised. This allowed me to identify 8 failed PICs and Roms on these units. I was also able to check the other programmable CPUs, Proms, Roms, Logic ICs etc. This is a very versatile unit. The only programmable CPUs It would not work with that I need is the old Motorola 68705 series. Everything else seems to be covered.
