Great matcha – enjoyed as a latte
My review is for the CLASS A matcha – “latte-grade,” which does not come in a tin. I’m not exactly sure how much of this matcha to use per serving, so I went with .5 tsp per person, which is what’s listed on the reclosable pouch on the English nutrition facts sticker and in the listing details. Unlike most matchas I’ve tried, this one comes with a tiny scoop, which was a surprise. I haven’t tested how much the tiny scoop holds. The best source of information on this tea is the image on the listing, “three grades of encha organic matcha.” I would say that the description of the flavor as “mildly grassy” is accurate. I also think the color was as expected – emerald green. Only the AA is listed as BRIGHT emerald green.Below is the AI translation from the back of the pouch:-How to drink matcha-About 1.5 to 2g (1.5 cups of tea ladle or tea spoon)Put 1 cup of matcha in a tea bowl. About 60~Pour 70ml of hot water into a tea bowl and brew it in a teapot.-Other examples of use-[Matcha chocolate]Melt the white chocolate in the microwave and mix the matcha. After pouring it into the mold, let it cool in the refrigerator. When it hardens well, it's done. You can enjoy it by mixing matcha and salt. If you combine it with tempura and fish dishes, you can enjoy it deliciously.※Please pay close attention to hot water.※Please adjust the intensity according to your preference.Described at the bottom outside the frameAvoid high temperatures and high humidity,Please pay attention to the transfer incense.Kanematsu Tea Co., Ltd.Manufacturer 4-1 Tokoji, Shimada City, Shizuoka PrefectureTEL 0547-37-7158This review is for ASIN: B0DQY3Y751KANEMATSU Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder 1.76oz Bag, Japanese JAS Certified Organic, Antioxidant Rich with Caffeine & L-Theanine for Focus & Relaxation, Kosher Non-GMO Green Tea (1.76oz)

Recommend
The matcha tastes great. I got the latte quality one that was very affordable. The color is alright, but I don’t drink it by itself. The only thing is the package had all of this dark, syrupy substance on it which was off-putting. I would purchase again though

Don’t purchase
Had an off color and I should’ve noticed. Tasted very bitter and unpleasant when I made my matcha. I make matcha every single day and have tried some of the best matches through Amazon so I was pretty disappointed with this one!

taste good
This comes with 20 tea bags in muscat grape flavor. The tea smells really good just right out the bag. It's meant to use with cold water, but you don't have to spend a lot of time brewing. There's enough aroma that you can taste it after about 5 mins or so. I like using this to flavor my water, it makes water much tastier and I'm more motivated to drink more water. A bag of tea can last me about 30-60oz of water, the flavor gets weaker at the second brew but it's still very good. I'd highly recommend this tea

Not a fan
As soon as I opened the resealable bag, I was disappointed as the color of the matcha was a brownish-dull green color rather than the vibrant green I'm used to, and the smell was also a bit odd. As soon as I began mixing it, I noticed that while the powder is very fine, it doesn't dissolve well and creates clumps. Aside from the presentation and color not being up to par, the taste was just not good. Will not be trying it again.

Easy To Take
This product arrived well-sealed and carefully packaged to preserve its freshness. The resealable bag contains 1.76 oz (50 g) of powder, providing a 50-day supply based on the recommended dosage of 1/2 teaspoon daily. Each serving delivers 1 g of Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder. The powder is sugar-free and completely free of additives and fillers. It has a fine texture that mixes easily with water, requiring no straining. This matcha is simple to prepare in just minutes, offering a smooth, vegetal flavor with a slightly citrusy note and a savory finish. So far, I have not experienced any side effects. I am hopeful this product will help boost energy and focus, support immune health, and promote overall well-being.

Incredibly smooth with just a little bitterness.
This is a slightly bitter, lightly vegetal matcha that is smooth and clean. The underlying tones are more vegetal with a little umami and there is a light bitterness that isn’t all that bad. If you make the matcha a little too strong or incorrectly, it can lead to slightly more bitterness, but it still isn’t all that bad.The matcha is a nice jade green color and is ground finely. There is some, but very little clumping and it sifts rather easily (not much effort fighting clumps because there are hardly any). Using a traditional whisk, the matcha produces a nice froth fairly easily, but the froth isn’t super dense and is a little airy (so more larger bubbles than smaller ones). The froth tends to hold for a while and not dissipate quickly.I do prefer slightly more body (vegetal and umami flavors), but this is still quite a good matcha. I am pleased with how smooth and clean it tastes, and when made just right has very little bitter flavor and is incredibly smooth. I’d say it is well worth the price and a good deal.
