I am a matcha newbie, this is only my 2nd matcha I have purchased. I purchased my first matcha from Rockys and let me just say this one tastes pretty much the same to the one I purchased but $20 cheaper! And now with the tariff prices. A lot of matchas are even more expensive! I love the taste of this one! A little nutty and subtle sweetness. Blends well with warm water or cold & has a creamy texture. & it smelled nice a fresh when opened! I will 100% purchase again. Definitely a good everyday matcha! Oh and the color is nice and dark green when whisked!

What a great Matcha!!I don’t ever write reviews, but this matcha was so delicious I had to share my thoughts. I’ve been obsessed with Matcha for over 10 years now, so I am pretty picky about what I like. I prefer my matcha fragrant, velvety, and a right balance of sweet with umami. This Matcha (The gold one) hit all the notes for me. I prepared a latte and it was perfect. It’s 1st harvest and stone grounded, so it’s maintained its quality. I did a lot of research to find a great matcha at a decent price point, and this one met all my criteria! I think the size is great for the quality and price point. The seal and metal container will help maintain the freshness. My energy feels stabilized and I didn’t have a terrible caffeine crash after drinking it. 10/10!- I feel like this matcha has a little notes of grass, nuts, and is semi sweet.

I ordered this matcha because it was a steal during Prime Day, and I’ve been wanting to try different brands of matcha on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! It has a deeper “earthy” taste to it, but not in an overwhelming way. It tastes like good quality matcha, and in a latte it mixes really well with oat milk. I add homemade strawberry syrup to my matcha and this suits it so well! It also froths so nicely, using just a bit of warm water & cold frothing it with milk. The more earthy/less sweet taste of this matcha makes it great to balance other flavors with in a latte. Overall, I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to make cafe level matcha lattes at home!

I’ve done my research on matcha, and for ceremonial grade, you can’t beat the flavor or price of this one! I use it every other day to make matcha lattes and love the rich umami taste and vibrant color. Pro tip: buy the tin the first time, then stick with the refills - you get more for less :)

I've wasted money on buying so many different brands of matcha, in search for one that is NOT bitter, but still has a rich umami taste, at a decent price. This one is it. I will continue to reorder when I run out.

The media could not be loaded. The color is yellow/green, but still very pretty. Froths up well. Upon opening the powder, you can smell sweet/umami, once hot water hits, it brings out an earthy aroma but it’s not strong. I like to whisk the matcha into a thick paste (koicha), and taste that first before adding more water to make usucha. The flavor is mild, umami, slight bitterness, and minimal astringency. When adding more water, you can a subtle sweetness to it. I can drink this in usucha, matchacano, and latte form. As a latte, very smooth and creamy. You can sweetened it to your desire. Great for beginners, AND everyday matcha drinker 😌💚🍵. Highly recommend 👏🏼, I’ve also recommended this brand to a couple of my friends before trying it out myself, and they all loved it.

excellent matcha! No bitter taste, frothy and very nutty. Value for money!

This is some of the best matcha I've tried. Doesn't compare to what is sold in coffee shops. The green is deep and I would definitely buy again!
