Goodbye to tearing packets
Loving it so far, way better than packets. I like sweet tea and use one level teaspoon for one half gallon of strong tea I serve over ice, and it's still perfectly sweet when so diluted.I am careful not to add while tea is still very hot, or it can turn out somewhat less sweet and more bitter. Dissolving isn't a great problem but small clumps can form and take a little time to dissolve. It's always gone by the time the pitcher's chilled enough to serve tho so it sure wouldn't stop me from buying (again).I'm glad I tried it. Making a day's worth of tea is much less of a chore without the packets.

Great replacement! Great Savings!
I have been using Equal or a generic equivalent since it came on the market. I can't believe it has taken me this long to discover the purest form of Aspartame. This is awesome! You need just a few grains of this white powder and it sweetens a cup of tea or coffee. In cold beverages it may take a minute to dissolve. Keep manufacturing this and I will keep buying. Although it will take me a long time to use this much powder [ 8 oz.] ! I feel like I discovered gold!

Thank God I don't have to empty packets!!!
I have spent years having to empty those little packets and have tried and tried to order this in bulk and am finally able to! That is great! And a little of this goes a long way because it's so concentrated. The only objection I have toward this is that it seems a bit pricey, but it is worth it because of the convenience!

Not sweet, Seller sour
It was not sweet. Small amounts or large amounts, stirred or shaken or blended, this aspartame imparted virtually no sweetness whatsoever to the many drinks I tried it in. Aspartame is very sensitive to heat, so sellers must be cautious about storage, packaging, and shipping, or aspartame _will_ lose its sweetness. Seller first told me to return it for a refund, then a few hours later reversed themselves, forcing me to use Amazon's A-Z Warranty, which unfairly places price pressure on Amazon products across the board. The quality of a merchant is determined by how they act when problems arise, and on that basis, I will never do business with HerbStoreUSA again, including this so-called aspartame.

Great product for the most part.
Does not dissolve. People who suggest hot tea or water dont seem to understand that that is how the product becomes bitter. It will dissolve if you smash the bigger bits while it is under the liquid. The product just traps too much air around each particulate. might have to be mixed with fiber or protein to dissolve better. raw form here is practically impossible.

This is granulated, not powered.
I prefer the granulated form of this Aspartame. It doesn't dissolve in cold water as well, but no puffs of supper sweet powder to breathe in or get on the counter and other foods. It can float through the air, and if it gets on my dog's food, they won't eat it. I wish I could find a granulated form of Sucralose. This is the best bulk aspartame I have purchased, and I have tried many brands.

Perfect for making sweet tea!
I brew iced tea all the time and used to buy the individual packets of equal and tear them open. I then discovered bulk equal and tried purchasing that. Then I decided to take the plunge and go for Pure aspartame powder, which is what this product is. This seems to be the simplest and most economical way to sweeten large batches of iced tea. I brew a gallon at a time and use a tablespoon of this powder and it sweetens the whole gallon to my favorite taste! I add the powder to the Brewing basket along with tea bags and the hot water splashing over the powder dissolves the little clumps that form when it gets wet. Tea tastes just like it did when I use the equal packets. This is so much easier.

Excellent for making a version of "Equal" without Carbohydrates
Aspartame alone , may become bitter or impart a sweetness that develops too late. The food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry frequently uses a (70% aspartame/30% acesulfame potassium) w/w ratio to artificially sweeten products. The acesulfame imparts an immediate sweetness as the slower aspartame begins to impart sweetness to the finish. Making this in 100gm batches is simply 70grams aspartame and 30grams acesulfame. If powders/granules are of different consistency, a morter and pestle may need to be used.
