I expected less, but got alot more.
I was not sure if these bottle protector bags would be able to hold bottles that larger at the bottom. Yes, these inflatable bags can hold larger bottles 750 no problem with space to grow. I think it could 1L nicely. I did have some cells which would not fill, and in one case I placed 1 in the trash can do to 2 or more cells not inflating. I had many bottles to place and fill in protector bags. What I did was use a battery hand held tire inflator, this got the job done alot faster then the hand pump provided. I never used the hand, so I can get no review on it. Overall a good product that can protect most bottles, but it will not protect 1.75L.

Does exactly what it needs to do, and does it well - but setup is a bit of a pain.
To be fair, I had to blow up 75 of these suckers for a work project. It took for flippin' ever. But that's less on their part and more on my end, because clearly the best idea here was mailing out 75 bottles of wine to business partners like some kind of mystical wine fairy. Except I don't have magic to protect the bottles from smashing into a thousand pieces should some errand FedEx worker accidentally knock over a stack. Which was where the bottle protectors came in.They can be a bit of a pain to blow up, because the plastic doesn't want to separate as you're trying to blow it up; but it also means that once inflated, this things STAY inflated, which means they do their job of making sure bottles don't smash into aforementioned number of pieces. They also included a little pump with each of the rolls, which I thought was a nice touch.Overall, I think they're a great option for any other aspiring wine fairies out there that are sadly sans glass protecting magic, and I'd definitely purchase them again.

Love these pillow bags!
Bought these to travel/fly with my favorite wine. I put bottle on a zip lock bag just in case it were to break and then in the wonderful inflated pillow bag and then in a 2 gallon with shipping tape seal because it was a super tight fit. I did the second zip lock again “just in case” (I really didn’t want wine all over my clothes). My wine and I arrived to our destination in on piece. When returning home I recycled everything by bring new wine discoveries home using the same materials and method, and it work beautifully. I would definitely recommend these! Follow directions and be patient. 14 out of fifteen worked for me. I think the one that failed was my error? I will still use my zip lock bag method when using for traveling.

Bags are Good
Bought these for an interstate move. The included pump was smashed and broken. Was able to tape it and get it to work for one bag before it fell apart. From the way it worked, I would guess that it would take quite some time to fill the bag with air, even in perfect condition. The bag is very nice and seems like it will do its job quite well. Unfortunately, going to have to buy a small air pump before I can inflate the rest to know for sure.Update: Using a bike pump worked very well. The bags filled quickly, although occasionally it helped to use one hand to hold the nozzle in the bag and the other to wiggle the tops of the air pockets. That seemed to help them get started when they got hung up. Will try to remember to update again after we've moved and say how well they held up. From other reviews, I'm anticipating them holding up just fine.2nd update: these held up great! A few air bubbles popped and cold weather caused several to partially deflate, but all kept some air around the bottles and they got to our destination unbroken. Upping to 4 stars!

Works as stated!
Took these to France to bring back some wine. Took a minute to find the place to inflate, but once we did, inflation was fast. Held large bottle (750ml) and smaller bottles of wine easy. No broken bottles thru 3 different airlines (6 transfers). We did pack clothes under and over the bags as a precaution, but everything Held up nicely. Would definitely recommend. This would also be good for travel in car or for transport from store to home. These probably could be used for other types of bottles or for packing other breakables.

17 bottles safety transported from South America to the US on a plane
We purchased these for a trip to Argentina & Chile where we knew we'd be collecting wine. We used these protectors for 17 of the bottles we brought back and every bottle made it back safely. We used two airlines and had three flight legs. A word of caution: use the pump very gently. At one point it came apart, but we were able to figure out how to reassemble in only a minute and it kept working. Later, we packed the pump in our suitcase and it shattered completely - but that was kind of our fault, it was packed in a bad spot. So just treat it with care.We knew that these don't deflate, and they do take up a fair amount of space when inflated. So just keep that in mind if you're planning on reusing.

Description & images seller posted are misleading
The description and images the seller posted are misleading. After inflating 3 bags because I kept thinking maybe I wasn’t inflating correctly, I realized that it’s just the bag. The bag leaves the neck of the bottle exposed, with about 4" of any wine/alcohol bottle that isn't protected. I even tired putting a half size wine bottle inside there and the top of the head still doesn’t close properly. Very disappointed. I’ve uploaded a picture with. Normal size wine bottle to show you what it really looks like once inflated. NOTE: the flaps on the bottom half of the opening don’t inflate with air - which is why I’ve said there is a 4” opening/bottle exposure.

WOW - Super convenient
I may have purchased 12 bottles of wine on my last trip to California. I needed a 2nd suitcase for transport. A friend recommended these. The pump was the only thing that wasn't the best ( small and cheap) . . but it worked JUST FINE! you can use a bicycle pump instead if you have the right attachment. Needless to say. . all 12 bottles made it back to Toronto safely. I was VERY happy with the ease of use and that all my wine was safe without having to pack them around clothing. I would for sure purchase again :)
