Contento con la compra
Equipo en muy buenas condiciones, exacto con la descripción. 10 de 10. Pequeño detalle en la tapa superior pero nada que afecte rendimiento no estética, entendible por ser equipo renovado. Recomendado.

annoying hold music at HP
this product is not reliable...screen would cut out did this one year after purchase....and manufacturer wanted me to send in....and i had so much data i just put up with for next year purchased same one again and so i'd have a 2nd when this eventually died...and then just after 2 year and 3 months it's not fully dead....then on phone with HP and they toss you around and put you on hold...you give them the serial number and they say 'we are checking with out team" 30 minutes pass and nothing....typical big company wasting your time....could be a seinfeld episode with George(me) on hold for the entire episode and i get nothing accomplished........hope the 2nd computer I purchased..same model lasts longer...

Great laptop, fast shipping and looks brand new.
Shipping was fast, laptop arrived basically as described. Laptop came in its original box and quite honestly looked to be brand new. Device still has warranty thought HP and even came with touch screen. I've only had it for a day, but I would say as long as everything stays the same it's a great buy and highly recommend.

Spray painted the motherboard
you spray painted the back panel to cover any wear. The text that a normal, from the factory, model has etched on the case is covered up by paint. Staff even sprayed paint into the vent which got into the fan, the motherboard, and even on the pins where the expansion card slot is.The metal covers that protect the RAM and SSD are also missing. Same goes for the little cover over the WWAN port. The hinge on the screen is also weak.I wanted to say I like this, but I don't. I wanted to gift it to my mother. No way am I letting something this laptop go to my mom.Company can have this back.Stay away, anyone wanting to buy.

touch pad issues
Being a refurbished laptop one issue it has is that the touch pad doesn't work as well as it should. When trying to use the cursor to scroll, I have a difficulty finding the 'right spot' so it will work. I'll need to take to a computer repair person & see if it can replace so that I can use it without any issues.

Missing up arrow button cover
Ordered a refurbished laptop that was supposed to be excellent or like new condition. When I received it the up arrow button cover was missing.Unfortunately it took over a week for the product to ship to me. Classes are getting ready to start so I don't have time to order a replacement and wait on the new one to arrive. Had I known the product would arrive missing a key cover I would have taken my chances and ordered a cheaper refurbished version.

Testers need to test keyboard functionality
The laptop itself, as a model, is exactly what I was looking for. Not too heavy, not too light. Small enough to throw in my backpack so I can bring it with me to do a bit of work or write. Problem is, I couldn't type on several of the keys without washing them multiple times, while several other keys I would lightly press once and they would type two or three of the same characters in a row. I usually don't have a problem using refurbished electronics, someone somewhere put in new parts tested, and gave it the ok. In this case, either the tests didn't check to make sure all the keys worked or tester didn't. Based on the paper with check marks the laptop came with, seems like it was the tests as there was no keyboard test listed. It was such a problem I didn't bother finishing the windows setup before deciding to return it, couldn't even type in a password without trouble. Just a frustrating experience overall. Would recommend avoiding buying refurbished if you're not willing to gamble on this sort of bad quality repair. Two stars to give credit to the laptop model itself, recommend buying new.
