Is this item brand new still in the original box?

It comes in the original box if you buy from Amazon, but be weary it is a huge box and Amazon won't ship it in another box, so there is a good chance that your child will see what it is if they are with you when you receive it.

Would this garage work with the disney diecast cars (slightly larger than the hot wheels ones)? thanks in advance!

Even some hot wheel cars get stuck on the spinning elevator. Disney cars can fit if they are slim like some of the star wars ones. The taller the car the more likely it will get stuck.

Our gorilla keeps getting jammed near the top. Any suggestion?

Are you sure you pushed the top piece down all the way? If there’s a gap, he might be getting stuck in it.
