Camera works great on my F150 with a camper shell that impedes view. I can now back out of angled parking with confidence because I can see down the street due to the wide angle view. Two caveats. 1. The instructions are not detailed for installation. 2. The width of the grid in the video does not match the width of my truck, as all vehicles with factory units that I have driven seem to have, so you cannot trust the side lines and absolutely MUST check your side mirrors often.

I can't say enough good things about this product. I had mine installed. Camera is above the license plate and the mirror shows what's behind me when I put my car in reverse. There are 4 brightness levels on the camera for backing up 40 to 80. Depending on the time of day you'll need to adjust them. 40 is best for when the sun is at it's brightest but for sunset and night I prefer 60 or 70.This really makes backing up a lot easier especially if your at stores and have a hard time seeing if a car behind you is backing up. I had this installed on a 2011 Kia Sorento. Not sure if this mirror dims if someone with bright lights are behind you as I haven't had that happen yet. It's a great back up camera

This camera stopped working a couple times and then restarted the next day then quit for good one month after the warranty. They admitted the camera was a lemon since all the connections and everything else was checked by a mechanic including the fuses. But because it was out of warranty would not replace The mirror camera. It’s very expensive if it Hass to be replaced every year. Not worth it. If it wasn’t for the company I’m not taking responsibility for their product issue I would recommend this.
