What does RCA input mean ?

RCA is the cable ... red / yellow / white This is the « problem » the quality is not so good compared to HDMI But RCA work .

So it can play dvds from other regions and can be plugged into a tv with video cables?

I bought mine in 2008. I can't help but wonder if the same model is still being sold. But mine played any region and I used the video/audio cable inputs. It lasted about 6 years, no complaints.

What voltage is this and does this play dvd's from both the us and italy?

I have only used this on USA Region Free DVD's. I did notice from advertising that a large sum of others purchased this same DVD player because of it's ability to play region freely. The voltage on my unit is 120vac and has a domestic United States type plug. I selected the unit because of other things, this unit can play "home-produced" DVD+R recordings that my recorder produces. That is the limit of experience on this unit.
