Better than some of the other reviews
I've been printing for about a year now and still have much to learn but I feel I'm pretty decent now. I bought the AmazonBasics Silver PLA to give it a shot and I think it came out better than expected! This was printed on a Original Prusa I3 MK3, 210 degrees celsius for the nozzle, 65 degrees celsius, layer height of .2 (probably should of done .1 for better details.) Not sure if the lower star reviews got a bad batch, but my spool of silver is great and can't wait to print more. Please see pictures.

Just wow great product
So I was super excited about this product. Especially at the price but I had lower expectations. And was I wrong this product has performed wonderfully. The bed adhesion is some of the best I've seen. And the product extrudes very nicely. I still need to get my cura settings right but I have attached a few photos of the results.

Amazon you hit the target with this product
The review for this product is all good, and for a reason, Amazon, did their homework and makes this product affordable, and awesome at the same time, I use to buy hatbox, which is in the same price range, and hatbox print easier than this pla, but, hatch box get soft very easily, were this one hold its shape, you can feel the filament has texture, contrary to other filaments I have used, And I though that would give me trouble, but after printing wit it is wonderful. I have yet to test the black, grey and blue, and went trough the withe one without failed prints "Directly related to filament quality"I have been testing with the caliper, and it is a consistent 1.75~

Great PLA filament with good printing results
Received this filament in a great condition. I love the vacuum sealing. Very professional. I test it out with a chess board and everything goes on well. The whole structure sticks with each other well and it is easy to remove after print. Not sure why others did not get a good results but it may due to the miss configuration of the printer?Bought as a test set but definitely will buy another one. If you are looking for a good PLA filament with economical price and good quality. This one worthes your money.

Very good experience and I will definitely buy more
I'm a big fan of wood mimic filaments. I think I have now good experience with it, as I have been playing with many different brands. I was quite intrigued by the Amazon wood PLA when I saw a print of it in Facebook with I almost thought was an SLS print. I got myself a roll and here is my feedback.First off this material is unlike any wood-like filament I ever used. I vaguely recall some discussion about this material saying this is not wood-filled but using a different technology to create the wood texture. This material extrudes very well, way better than any wood-filled filament I have ever used which can easily clog th nozzle. I have run through almost 80% of the roll now and never had a single issue. In terms of surface texture the only wordI can say is amazing! I don't know how they make the wood texture but I have to say I have been waiting for this kind of filament for a long time. I printed a Viking boat in 2 parts. they both came great and the surface quality is insane - the layers are almost invisible. My guess is that the rough texture is hiding the layers resulting in a very nice matte surface.A few notes:1. The filament tends to be more stringy than regular PLA, but it is easy to deal with: I used a heat gun and all the small artifacts just vanished.2. The filament is a bit more brittle than regular PLA so be careful when handling the material. I used a guide tube and it worked very well.3. My best settings have been 195 degree C at 40mm/s. I also increased the retraction a bit more compare to regular PLA.Overall, very good experience with this material and I will definitely buy more.

Nice basic PLA
I really like it! This price point is very crowded already with worthy contenders, and Amazon holds its own quite nicely. I bought a 1Kg spool of silver as a test and did a couple of long prints on my Prusa Mk3 to test. Printed smooth at 215/60 with no major issues; a couple of small burps like you'd expect from anything at this price point. Filament diameter was consistently around 1.76mm, which is good. All in all I'd recommend it. It's a good PLA at a good price point.

Good quality!
This stuff is so unique so far. I studied a bit of polymer science and let me tell you, this PLA prints at slightly higher temperature than average(I printed it at 215°C) which means that whoever makes this filament has succeeded to keep the quality of it (high molecular weight) making it much less brittle than regular PLA and especially durable.

Good Stuff!
This is some decent printing PLA. Nothing stands out that makes it crazy good and there seemed to be some problematic fluctuation between colors. The gold color printed pretty nice though. No real warp or shrinkage issues. Good filament at the price.

Hatchbox is better at the same price
I was sadly displeased with the quality of this PLA printing material. I used Hatchbox PLA to start, at the same price.

It Prints.... Not very well.
This PLA is brittle and lacks the plasticity of other filaments like hatchbox, It also is not wrapped on the spool very well which causes extrusion issues.

3D Printing with Spaghetti, No Thanks
The sickly yellow "plastic" that tends to snap as it comes off the spool. The best description I can think of is slightly bendy spaghetti. Don't buy this stuff.

Great PLA, love the way this color looks!
COLOR: BLUEI borrowed my friend's 3D printer (MP Select Mini v2) to play around with and needed some PLA filament to play with. Was recommended AMZ3D or Amazon Basics.

Pretty good quality and worth buying!
I am a green hand in 3D printing. I was just exposed to this area a few days ago. I tried the nozzle temp of 200'C and bed temperature of 60'C.

I like it!
Pretty good filament. Is as good as Hatchbox? I think so. I also heard it’s just rebranded Hatchbox with slightly different packaging.

Does not look like gold. More like MUSTARD!
As a base PLA it printed fine but the color can HARDLY be called GOLD... its more like a dark mustard color. Oh well!

Good for the price, needs temps a bit higher than normal.
All in all it's a pretty good filament for the price. The gray color shows defects and inconsistencies in width very well but that's standard for gray filament.

Not true white, shrinks and curls
This stuff is awful. It won't stick to my bed, it curls and shrinks like crazy. I have tried printing it with many different settings, cooling on / off, high temp / low temp,...

Turned good after several tests
Usually I set the temp around 190C but for this one the printer didn't squeeze well. I sliced it and tested several times, finally, around 200 to 210C, everything went just...
