Can I bolt this to the wall?

Yes you can takeoff the lock screw (or whatever it's called, the thing that you tighten and loosen) and use that whole to drill into cement wall or wooden studs, which is what I did.. I can send u pick if hsend me email of what I did .

I don’t get it will the length of chain make excercise less I have to use only 25pd plates to get a stretch

I don’t own this attachment (I opted for the solid bar that slides over barbell end). If you do go this route, I see no reason why you just can’t attach to the chain where you see fit. I think you will find no matter which option you choose, you will not be able to load the larger plates due to range of motion restrictions. Just my $.02 . . .

Does t-bar attach to 2.5 inch frame like hulkfit 1000?

Yes, attaches to a standard Olympic bar. The base attaches to any cage, I attached mine to a bodycraft F, the same standing as hulkfit 1000
