This light is a beautiful addition to my new home! Not only is this an excellent product but Log Barn has provided amazing customer service. We broke the glass during installation and Log Barn went above and beyond to send me a new glass. I was completely prepared to pay for a new glass however Log Barn immediately sent me a new one at no charge. Log Barn will be my go to for all lighting needs in the future!

Love the light but globe fell off and broke. How do I contact the company to buy a replacement.

We bought this to put by the outside door under our covered patio. It matches hanging lights of the same style. Looks great.

Many others (1 star reviewers) have mentioned the glass [jar] "falls out". Yes, they have likely installed the jar wrong, but it's not their fault. In my case the glass could simply not be installed properly, and I suspect this is the same for all others who have had the same problem.The fixture is designed so the glass must turn at least 1/4 turn within the mounting ring, so a set screw can protrude behind a ridge of glass and keep the glass from turning back. This screw is NOT intended to screw up against the glass jar and hold it in place by friction. This would be an even poorer design, as many people would tighten this screw too much and break the glass jar. No, this screw is meant to screw in behind a ridge within the glass jar and simply stop it from turning back the other way.The Problem: the glass jar cannot be turned enough to get the ridge past the set screw. I bought 8 of these, and I sit here typing this before I have even open the 5th one. Of the 4 so far I have opened, one worked as designed, a second took some careful prodding, but I finally got the jar to rotate enough to get the set screw in behind the ridge, the other two are so bad, I haven't a prayer of getting them to turn enough; and one of those, I broke the glass jar just turning it a bit with some pressure to see how far it would get to where it needs to be. Granted this jar that broke was decidedly thinner than the other three; noticeably thinner.The glass jar has a three ramped slots that slide over three metal protrusions within the mounting collar. As the glass jar is rotated, these slots and protrusions get tighter and tighter to a point where the jar cannot rotate any more. If this happens before the jar is rotated enough (at least 1/4 turn) then the set screw cannot be screwed behind the locking ridge where it needs to be. Most people would likely be tempted to just tighten the screw (carefully) against the glass and hope for the best. If the wind blows, as some have said, and the jar rotates back the other way, it will certainly just fall out. As I stated, i have 2 of my 8 (so far) that literally turn maybe 1/8 of a turn, and would easily just slide back and fall out.Bottom Line: This is not a poor design, but absolutely horrible manufacturing that allows for such wild variances in tolerances. You can see where the manufacture has somewhat identified this problem and grinds the top of the glass jar to try and reduce the total distance between the top of the jar and bottom of the ramps in order to make the jar rotate more, but it is just not enough. What is the real issue is the poor quality control over where the metal protrusions are made in the collar. You can visually see that this process is close to random, as the distance from the protrusion to the top, (or bottom) of the mounting ring is quite variable, and a close inspection can tell which ones are going to have a chance of working, and which will not.Bottom Bottom Line: The manufacture should absolutely individually test the glass jar into the mounting base to ensure the jar rotates enough. This is simple QA 101, which clearly does not happen in China. I'd say you get what you pay for, but even at $49.99, I would expect the thing to at least install out of the box. This is just a bad product as they are selling them.On the only positive note, the fixture does look nice, and was exactly the look I wanted.

One of the glass covers broke after install. I got a refund bought a used one because the price was higher than the original purchase. A week later another one broke. I don’t know why and I can only guess the glass cannot handle cold Wisconsin weather and we are not even into February.

We ordered 3 of these for our front door and back door. We love them however one of the glass globes fell down 2 days after being installed. I’ve tried to figure out how to contact the company to get a replacement and can’t get into contact with them. We love the look of them however I’m frustrated that I can’t get in contact to get a new glass globe.

The fixture is not overly large, which we were fine with. Also, when you add the glass make sure you twist it in correctly or it can fall out (happened to us and we had to order another fixture). Otherwise super cute!
