I dont think so, its cold when you get the ice out but figure that is from the ice.

Q: Is this connected to your home’s water line?

Yes, I have mine set up in my laundry room which at one time had a sink in it. We tapped into that line and drain

13 inches wide and 20 inches deep.

Q: How loud is this machine while making ice?

kind of noisy but it is located in my utility room and if I close the door you don't notice it. But do if the door is open
