Try it to experience it ~~Detailed review~~
This was my first experience with the massage oil (buying and using) and I can only share here based on my only experience with it.Having never had a massage before, I had no idea what kind of oil would be best for body massages. After researching online for some time and reading several reviews on many massage oils, I decided to give this product a try and I am glad that I did.SCENT:It smells the same as Jasmine flower and if you were to blindfold someone and make them identify the scent, they'd probably think they are smelling the actual flower. I'm completely satisfied with it.CONSISTENCY:When in room temperature, the oil is more viscous than when it is warmed. The difference is little but evident. It is not highly viscous but if I have to refer it to an oil based on its consistency, I'd say it is slightly more thicker than the commercially made Sunflower oil; slightly sticky on dry skin. The liquid was thick enough to give the feeling of oil but light enough to allow one's hands to move freely over our body without it being very sticky. This to me was perfect for a massage oil!ABSORPTION RATE:The instructions on the bottle read that the oil should be warmed up before applying over the body (right method) and I followed the instruction properly.I needed around 20% of the oil in the bottle to fully apply it over my body without looking like I was dipped in a large oil container. This depends on your satisfaction level; some like it more oily, some less. After massaging for about 15 mins, the skin looked like it had absorbed lot of oil and there was no sticky feeling which some oils give you when applied over the skin.It looks almost dried up when left applied for longer than 30 mins over on the body.BATH TIME:This is the only area where I wish it wasn't "oil" because it took me nearly 30 mins to get the oil completely off of my body despite applying soap multiple times. Then again, I had forgotten to carry a scrubber with me which was my fault entirely. I'm pretty sure a scrubber would have gotten the oil off of my body quickly and effectively. Although, I needed help to wash the oil off of my back.PERKS:Apart from the massage itself which helps you relax your mind and body, the aroma engulfs your senses for a long time and it is a pleasure to smell the scent every time you enter the massage area (indoors) after going out for some time! JASMINEPRICE AND WORTHINESS:No doubt it is a decent product and was well packed but I did feel like it is on the expensive side for the quantity you're getting. Perhaps it'd feel perfectly priced if they offered more quantity for the same price. The maximum one can use it is for may be 5 - 6 body massages with average oil consumption. If you have a large frame, the number will certainly reduce a little.I'm rating the product 5 stars because I liked it and the only area it loses out a 5 star is its pricing.NOTE:Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the oil to share at this time. May be I'll click a couple of pictures and share it here sometime as an update.By the way, the product looks exactly as advertised here and it is a gorgeous looking bottle with a little air-tight cap (cork type) covering the bottle's mouth which is a little hard to remove initially and a usual, larger, threaded cap over it.CONS:1) Strong scent; may cause Migraine.2) Less quantity for its pricing.3) Hard to wash off of the skin if it's not allowed to absorb for several hours; takes repeated wash and lot of soap.4) Oily; sticks to the bathroom floor while taking bath (if most of it isn't already absorbed by the skin)

Great!
A couple of years ago I had acute Vitamin D deficiency and since then I am always on a lookout to maximize my Vit D level and its absorption in the body. What prompted me to buy this oil was the list of ingredients. All the herbs listed are renowned in Ayurveda for healing and revitalizing. Only time will tell if it has a positive bearing on my Vit D levels but the herbs do wonders to skin and general health and have no side effects so as I see it, it's a win win.The oil is perfect for application. It isn't too sticky or too thick, smears in a smooth way and has a divine mogra/jasmine fragrance although a wee bit strong.I have used it for a week (4 days in a week) and although I cannot vouch for its efficacy in relation to Vit D absorption, it definitely brought down the soreness/strain I often feel in my muscles and joints.I did find the jasmine smell a little too overpowering initially so I added a little bit of coconut oil to dilute the consistency. Best decision ever as it increased the quantity and also made the fragrance milder.I suppose using this oil alone to increase Vit D levels would be foolish. My guess is this oil HELPS absorption but to reap full benefits one must sunbathe (as low as 10mins a day is more than sufficient from my experience) and eat Vit D rich foods (dairy, mushroom, eggs, etc).I plan to apply this on weekends as everyday application calls for dedicated effort. I applied it to my neck, hands, and legs and with special emphasis on all joints. Soaked for about an hour and then went for a shower. I did not use soap. Instead I rinsed using a mixture of moong & besan powder.Would I buy it again? Definitely!
