YI Z15 88001 2K 16 MP Action Camera (White)

EDIT: The Quality has been compromised from the previous editions. Shame on seller/ producer for this. Now the videos are jerky and have repeated+ missing frames. 1080p30 is ok ok, but anywhere above, its jerky.Earlier I thought it was due to my memory card, but testing this with a 64GB Grade 10-U3 memory card proved that QUALITY HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM BEFORE.Or maybe I got a bad piece.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm a biker and I had this camera before but someone broke it. So, I ordered a new one from Amazon.The seller delivered a sealed product, which had the following:- Yi Action Camera, Battery, one USB Cable for charging, and Yi user guide.I also recommend you purchase an original waterproof Yi Case. I've got it too separately, from Amazon itself.Coming to the camera, it is an excellent product, the only big demerit is no display. You can use Mobile display to frame the pic, but its a hassle- you have to connect phone to cam with Wifi for it. Best use is to frame invisibly. Its a wide angle camera, it will frame what you need to frame.The good news is, you can use the camera mostly without the phone, you have to click power button to toggle between Photo and Video. The earlier set resolution will be selected.In 4:3 mode, the camera can snap a detailed 16 Megapixel photo. Low light photo is often very grainy, but daytime is good.As for video, its the main purpose and it handles very well. Max resolution is 2K @ 30 fps.You can also choose,1080p @ 60 fps, 48 fps, 30 fps, 24 fps,720p @ 120 fps, 60 fps, 30 fps and so on,480p @ 240 fps is the maximum frame rate you can get.Quality is equally good in pics and videos, and with the Sony sensor inside, it handles extreme scenes well. Dynamic range is good and it snaps even the sky clearly, often small cameras make it full white- but not this one.Once you choose pic/ video resolutions in the Yi Camera App, the camera continues to remember it.... I've personally kept 1080p@48 fps, as its really smooth and good resolution and clarity too.Higher fps videos are darker in the night time, for obvious reasons, also it may skip frames, but use this camera in good light and all will be great!Camera has inbuilt mics, its quality is good indeed and a person's voice is clearly audible, but it gets worse with air and other noises in the environment. Keep the environment silent and it will do great.It works even with 64GB SDXC Cards, but I'm using a 32GB SDHC medium speed card, which is doing ok. LED circle around the power button indicates low battery, error, now charging, etc.The Yi camera app is a community sharing app, which I didn't quite like. They must've kept a simple app aside, but no problem. I don't use it much anyways. The camera itself has enough buttons to handle video/ pic toggle and start.Take it on a journey! is what I say.

YI is a powersouse camera,best cam available in this price range,period. I had ordered cheap cameras which promise 4k, they were all horrible. This YI was money well spent.i recieved a proper packed piece, the seller is good. Although this camera does not have a screen,it isn't required,the app is phenomenal. If you want a cheap action cam and you care more about picture quality rather than accessories,buy the YI,you won't regret it. It even beats gopro. All other cheap cameras on amazon are fakes,even sj4000,they have a cheap sensor,bad chipset,bad rom,and a bad app. Don't spend money on those cameras,they promise 4k,but the actual resolution is like a webcam. YI is true High definition. Although the only drawback is,it gets a littile hot,but its not a big issue. Although,YI doesn't come with accessories, i use the accessories that came with my cheap 4k camera. You can do the same,since accessories for YI are a little expensive,buy another cheap camera which comes with a waterproof case and other mounts,you will be able to use most of them with YI.By the way dont worry if it says xiaoyi not xiaomi,it is not duplicate. Yi technology or xiaoyi which makes the yi camera was a part of xiaomi then split up.Im writing this because even i thought it was duplicate when the box said xiaoyi not xiaomi.Read this

Best product by video quality 😊 but must needed thing is a display. Every time u have to connect your phone to change to another mode. If it has a small display to know in which setting I'm shooting with & has button change the settings. Then it could be the best action camera.

Writing this afterb using bit for three months.It is best Camera in this price range, better than other cameras worth of 8k.Build quality is good.Stabilization is just ok.Picture and a video quality is very nice.There is an issue with battery, it don't lasts even for an hour of continue usage, charging takes much time than normalAnd the main thing is; since there is no screen, you always have to connect it to phone to record a video and it is slow and irritating.

I would like to start by saying its unmatched excellence, i mean what more can you expect from a gadget worth ₹7000. It can obviously timelapse, take photos which are quite good in contrast(though being a bit curved lens it appears to be a bit distant what it actually is) quite quick shutter speed, and most importantly the 60fps @ 1080p which is pretty good when slowed down and also 120fps @ 720p, basically quite good for people who have a low budget yet want something to record amazing alterable video speeds. The couple of cons that many people would argue can be significant (at least not for me) are , gadget gets heated up at times and secondly it makes image appear at a distance hence one would need to keep the action cam nearer than normal.Hence to conclude its quite good given its price.

for 4k Rupees its worth it but the battery life sucks and the video quality could have been better and since the company does not provide a view finder display or accessories with this camera they could have atleast given a waterproof case with it.

There was a problem with the focus when I bought it. It needs adjustment which you have to manually do it by opening the front panel. Check out YouTube for guides.Secondly, it has problems synchronising with the app sometimes and causes the app to hang. But you get use to it.Apart from that it's an amazing budget friendly action cam. Go for it.

I already have Same camera with black color. Its model no is lower than black model. But its features are same. As with these cameras the camera heating problem is persistent and standard operating per charge is 90 min. But with this price i think its best value for money one can get.

Je me suis servi de cette caméra pour filmer des sessions de plongée à l'île Maurice.Cherchant à accrocher la caméra sur masque de plongée j'ai du acheter des visses pour la fixation.En effet la visse noire que l'on voit vissée au boitier étanche sur la photo ne peut pas servir à fixer autre chose que le socle noir, le pas de vis étant solidaire de ce même socle.J'ai donc acheté ces visses https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00GBI0V9U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Concernant le boitier étanche il fonctionne bien, après plusieurs plongées je n'ai pas constaté la moindre goutte d'eau à l'intérieur du boitier.La qualité d'image est bonne voir très bonne en 1080P, elle n'a pas à rougir face à des GoPro des années précédentes.Par contre elle est en deçà du haut de gamme d'aujourd'hui, au vu du prix je m'en satisfait amplementLa colorimétrie est assez froide mais plutôt fidèle.La qualité des photos ne m'a pas convaincu, surtout comparé à un smartphone récent, dans mon cas un iPhone 7 plus.La vitesse de transfert des vidéos/photos en USB est dans la moyenne.Par contre j'ai failli enlever une étoile pour sanctionner la vitesse de transfert en wifi via l'application sur smartphone.C'est excessivement lent, entre 30 et 45 mn pour 15mn de vidéos alors que les appareils sont côtes à côtes.Alors bien sur on peut se servir de son ordinateur, mais lorsque l'ont est en voyage et que l'on ne l'a pas sur soit il vaut mieux ne pas être pressé de regarder les vidéos.L'application n'est d'ailleurs pas géniale, le lag entre la prise de vue et l'affichage est de près d'une seconde, gênant pour cadrer ses prises de vues.Conclusion : Je suis satisfait de mon achat mais bien faire attention de considérer les points faibles de cet appareil avant l'achat.

Che dire ecco qua la mia recensione dopo una settimana di utilizzo.Ve la divido in vari punti.CORPO:Molto carina questa xiaomi yi, estremamente compatta e versatile. Costruita con materiali ottimi e resistenti.Il suo case in dotazione anche lui è ben fatto (anche se durante la mia settimana di test, ho trovato i pulsanti un po duri da schiacciare), del resto nulla da invidiare dalle sue concorrenti.SOFTWARE:Action cam estremamente facile e intuitiva da utilizzare e grazie alla sua app dedicata si riesce ad impostarla molto bene.Un problema che ho riscontrato è che alcune volteL applicazione da dei e problemi e non riesce sempre a far connettere la Cam al mio telefono (credo di possa risolvere con un semplice aggiornamento).VIDEO:Anche se la cam è di qualche anno fa, lei registra video di buonissima qualità.I suoi 1080p a 60fps sono davvero ottimi e nitidi.I video in 2k a 30fps invece li vedo un po inutili anche perchè non sono molto fluidi.La qualità dei colori anch'essa è ottima, i colori sono bilanciati e reali (Certo non sono come quelli di gopro ma sono comunque ottimi)FOTO:Anche qui siamo ad alto livello, i suoi 16 mpx si fanno sentire. Le qualità dell immagine è molto alta e definita. Apertura máxima f/2,8Batería 1010mAhVídeo hasta 2.7k a 30fpsFotografía un máximo de 16mp en 4.3Con estas especificaciones uno se da cuenta de que esta delante de una cámara un buen hardware y un precio muy competitivo.Diseño:El diseño la verdad es que es muy elegante y fino, con buen tacto, solo con cogerla ya notas que tiene calidad.Batería:En este apartado no han escatimado, monta una batería de 1010mAh y la verdad que dura bastante, yo le saque tirando fotos random y probando varios modos de grabación casi 1h y 30m, unas cifras mas que buenas por el tamaño de estas cámaras.Sonido:La verdad me ha gustado muchísimo, tiene una buena nitidez y coge todo el sonido bien.Grabación:Muy satisfecho con las pruebas realizadas, graba bien y con nitidez y enfoca bastante bien.Fotos:La verdad es que saca fotos buena, con una apertura de grados genial y buen rango, lo único que le encuentro, es que para mi gusto son muy grisáceas, y les falta ese pequeño plus de color para hacerlas mas vivas, pero en general muy bien.En resumen:Después de estar unos días trasteando con la YI action mi conclusión es la siguiente, es una gran alternativa a la GO PRO pero con un precio mucho mas reducido, el conjunto del hardware esta muy conseguido, tanto en grabación, fotografía, batería en este apartado le doy un 9/10 por el magnifico trabajo realizado, el hardware incorporado y el precio, en el diseño le doy un 10/10, la grabación un 9/10 todo bien y equilibrado, pero en algunos videos de pasar con sol a sombra hay un pequeño tiempo que la imagen coge algo de ruido hasta que define bien otra vez, pero en general todos los modos graban de maravilla y por ultimo fotografía le doy un 8/10 por el tema de que las fotos tienden a ser algo apagadas y con grisáceos.En el tema de accesorios, pues poco que decir viene pelada, yo eh cogido el modelo que viene con la carcasa incluida pero ya pagas un extra mas.Pero en general no puedo mas que decir que es excelente y una compra 100% recomendada.Espero que mi opinión te sirva de ayuda.

Sicuramente da una action cam economica non mi aspettavo riprese fotografiche professionali, ma usata in moto con attacchi ram mount ossia il meglio sul mercato (per me) superati i 100 km/h in moto la action cam incomincia ad avere immagini ondulate e fastidiose da guardare, lo stabilizzatore digitale insomma non riesce a fare molto, l audio nella sua custodia subacquea invece è veramente ottimo e non si sentono fruscii, app veramente ottima e facile da usare ma il wi fi l ho dovuto impostare manualmente e non è scritto nelle istruzioni in cinese e in inglese che trovate nella camera ma l ho trovate sul web se può esservi utile la pass della camera è 1234567890, però impostarla è facilissimo e sopratutto ci sono molte funzioni, ma..... Scordatevi di vedere i vostri video dal pc o tramite wi fi utilizzando la action cam come "periferica" perchè si blocca sempre, cmq il meglio di questa cam l esprime in formato hd a 30 frame secondo, come vi arriva gia impostata, veniamo alla nota dolente perchè 4 stelle tutto sommato le avrei dato visto il rapporto prezzo qualità, al black friday mi è costata 35 euro con scafandro incluso e spedizioni gratis con prime, la batteria..... Dura pochissimo anche senza wi fi, non riesce a fare piu di 25 30 min in hd ed è solo da 900 milliampere e ci mette anche tanto per caricarla, scriverò a yi (xiomi) forse la batteria è solo vecchia perchè prodotta nel 2017 e non essendo mai stata caricata avrà difficoltà., la consiglio? Se la batteria durasse il giusto perché no, se si rompe sopratutto in moto la butti e amen, infatti non compro piu action cam molto care che poi se le rompi ti viene un mezzo infarto.Aggiornamento BATTERIA RISOLTOho provato a resettata la action cam e non caricarla al mio "Pc" dove il led rosso di carica non si spegneva mai , ho usato un comunissimo carica batteria da smartphone e sorpresa non solo ricarica presto e bene la batteria ma dura anche tantissimo , ora il led rosso di carica una volta caricata la batteria si spegne denominando un funzionamento normale,), sempre se non si tenga in funzione il wi fi che fa scendere drasticamente il consumo della batteria e fantastica l assistenza yi che mi ha proposto di sostituirmi la action cam , quindi 4 stelleho restituito l articolo perchè usata in moto non ha nessuna stabilizzazione e i filmati vengono troppo mossi al punto da essere totalmente inutili i video quindi se avete la moto , poi col wi fi era un dramma si sconnetteva sempre dal mio cellulare . Peccato
