Great colors, it isn't flimsy or cheaply made. This is a perfect product for meal times.

My family has tried both the Painless Learning and Little Wigwam brands of placemats. While the content for the Painless Learning mats is sometimes superior, Little Wigwam makes the better placemats overall because the Little Wigwam mats are made from a sturdy, polypropylene card stock that holds up under repeated use. The laminated cover on the Painless Learning mats eventually begins to peel off.For the world map placemat, however, the content of the Painless Learning mat is much better than what Little Wigwam offers. This is largely because the Painless Learning map is slightly bigger, about 19 inches on the diagonal compared to Little Wigwam’s 17.5 inches. This small size difference makes a big difference in terms of readability and the amount of detail that can be included.Also, the shapes and borders of the nations really pop on the colorful Painless Learning placemats. Little Wigwam chose to make each continent monochrome, and as a result, it’s often difficult to distinguish the border between two nations that are different shades of the same color.

This is a nice looking map. It wipes clean, is solidly made, and is the right size. But it has one big flaw - the bottom is way too slick, so much so that is slides around on our wooden table. This means that your child's dishes will slide around too, pretty much defeating the reason to use a placemat in the first place. We use it more as an educational map than as a placemat as a result.

I got a bunch of these after learning the merka educational place mats shed plastic from the protective film on the back, and so far there are no regrets. The designs are great and there is no plastic film protecting the back, which is great because I don’t want thousands of plastic bits all over my sink, dishes and dining table. Wish I tried this brand first! I also love the size and sturdiness.

C'est bien un sous-main pour enfant, il parait petit mais cependant bien adapté à la taille des tables d'école. Fabriqué en plastique assez épais, il semble de bonne qualité. Les couleurs sont attrayantes. Espérons juste que le sous-main ne soit pas plus intéressant que les cours de grammaire de CE1.... (c'est très probable).

Me le aspettavo leggermente più spesse. Se ci appoggiate qualcosa di molto caldo (tipo scodella con la zuppa calda) tendono a deformarsi un pochino, ma poi riprendono la forma quando si raffreddano. Si puliscono facilemente. La varietà di fantasie è la cosa più interessante e i soggetti consentono di trovare un momento educativo per i bimbi anche mentre si mangia.
